Brilliant small scale eco resort at 40 min. drive from Waingapu.Rooms are simple but have a great beachy vibe. It’s very clean and everything you need is there. Proper beds, effective aircon, ample drinking water, some complimentary fruits ands snacks. Best of all, a magnificent beach lies right in front of your door and - very probably - you’ll have it all to yourself.Staff is very cute and helpful. They go out of their way to make it a pleasant stay for you. On top of that all, the cooking is brilliant. They’ve got an extensive menu (great if you want a change from nasi or noodles ;-)) and everything we ordered was well prepared and o so tasty. One of our best meals on the island, with a view and table clothing to match!

Stayed here for two days. The rooms are very simple, but clean enough. In any case, there is a shower, toilet, sink and mirror. The beach is quite nice and surprisingly clean for Indonesian standards, there is some algae in the sea but you can go for a swim. The hotel has a manager who is relatively well-rehearsed and very hard-working. What really stands out is the restaurant, which serves Indonesian and Western dishes, all of which are excellently prepared. The kitchen is also relatively quick. The breakfast was funny, even though we had booked for four people, the hotel was somehow of the opinion that we would only get breakfast twice, and therefore only covered breakfast for two people every day and then, at our suggestion, always increased it to four people (and that Two further breakfasts were then charged separately; since it wasn't really expensive, we simply paid for it). When we said goodbye, the entire staff was there and gave us homemade bracelets and a palm frond. Overall, in my opinion, an absolutely recommendable hotel.

I made a pit stop here for lunch and it was amazing! Lovely food and a lovely staff.They even lend me a charger because my phone died and I had to navigate back to my homestay! Very kind, thank you :)

We had an amazing stay at this hotel!Staff is absolutely amazing, they will help with anything and make sure you're very comfortable. They work very hard.The place is very quiet, no disturbances from a mosque nearby which was a nice change.The beach is beautiful and you can do good snorkeling as well.Motorbike rent is also possible at this hotel.There's also a free shuttle service to the airport, we had to leave at 4.30 AM as the plane departed at 6.30 AM and it was still a 50min drive. The whole staff was there to say goodbye to us and provide also a breakfast box. Felt special but that was honestly not required and felt a bit awkward. We would have preferred if only the driver would be there as it was so early in the morning and the staff also deserves a good night rest.

A suitable place to escape from the busy city. Many activities are offered while staying at this hotel. There are several cool spots to take photos. The food is delicious, the spices are mixed by their chef himself...I was able to look into the kitchen and was taught by the chef how to make my own mayonnaise...the ingredients are selected...the restaurant also has food for vegetarians and those on a diet.cool...highly recommended. always success for Pondok Wisata.
