A great homestay for your visit to Kelimutu, located about a minute drive from the gate to Kelimutu park.Every morning a pancake and fruit platter breakfast is served. There are a couple of snack shacks located across the street. The rooms are very clean with thick blankets to keep warm through the night.Showers have hot water which is not always available in the area.

The lodge is well located if you want to visit the Kelimutu craters. We arrived early and the room was ready for us so we got to check in early. The people working here are very kind and try to help you as much as they can. The included breakfast was also nice and the view makes it even better. The room was clean and there is hot water in the bathroom.

Positive - Great location with a nice view on the terrace. In general, the place is very new (opened in 2022), so the rooms still look good. There is hot water with good water pressure. The owner is friendly.Negative - The owner doesn't live there, but there are two teenagers on the property who look after it. Unfortunately, they neither understand English nor can they help you in any other way, as they are apparently not allowed to make any decisions. They couldn't even contact the owner if you had any questions. Then the breakfast is bad. There was no coffee, just tea or water. What was requested was rice with vegetables and tofu. We only got rice, which tasted strangely smoky, and 3 pieces of cold tofu wedges. In addition, water could not be refilled anywhere, not even purchased. You had to bring this from outside. There are tons of insects on the site, including large spiders and large praying mantises. These invade every light source in the evening hours. So you have a lot of them in your room. The owner can't do anything about it, but a mosquito net wouldn't hurt. And last but not least, a mirror is simply missing. There isn't one anywhere.
