A wonderful place to stay. It's very steep sp doesn't suit anyone that's not able bodied. However the view is incredible from our room and the food is very good. The only challenge is there is no communications from the room so if you need anything you need to walk down to get it, but helps to get the steps up!! VERY good value for money.

It’s a really nice hotel! The view of the bay is terrific! Staff are very friendly. They can provide personalized services and willing to help all the guests with special needs. The way up to the room is a little bit difficult to climb, while the staff always help with our luggage.All in all, I strongly recommend this hotel and the premium bay view room!

This hotel really deserves its name fantastic views. The suite we stayed in was really a dream and given the conditions here (3 hours of hot water a day, the rest from the tank) you can't complain. The staff is always very, very friendly and the rooms are clean! The maintenance needs some work and some small repairs would be necessary.

We had a very disappointing experience with Bayview Gardens Hotel. Initially, our room was confirmed, and we got told that the invoice would be sent promptly. However, it took three days to receive the invoice, and less than 24 hours were given to complete the payment before our reservation was canceled. Despite having good communication through WhatsApp, the hotel didn’t follow up about the payment there, which would have been much more efficient, considering emails can easily end up in spam. Canceling our reservation just one day before arrival was highly unprofessional. Additionally, when we reached out for alternative solutions, our requests were ignored. Due to this poor handling of our booking, we can only give one star.

We got upgraded to a villa with a private pool and it was amazing! Absolutely beautiful views, the room and terrace were super spacious and romantic. The service was also great, breakfast served by the pool in our room was delicious. If I'm ever back in Labuan Bajo I'd book this one again!

Set on the hill above the bay, this hotels views are second to none, very friendly staff and breakfast served on your balcony each morning was an amazing way to start the day. The quality of the rooms was excellent, nice pool area as well. There are quite a few steps but staff were always more than helpful with any luggage.

I booked the Harbourmaster Suite through the hotel website. The administration informed me early on that the room is located on a hill, requiring guests to walk up a steep incline. A 20% deposit and a 3% credit card charge were necessary.I stayed in Room Number 12. The balcony offered a stunning view of the bay, although photos taken from there included the roof of the room below, which was a slight drawback.Slope of the walkway to the room For us, it was quite steep but we could walk up it without being too tired. It was worth the view we got.I would rate the room 3 stars for the following reasons:1. The room's condition was not very new, and the floor had some dust.2.The bathroom featured an open-air shower, raising concerns about privacy from other rooms.3. The air conditioner is not very efficient during the day. You must use a ceiling fan to increase cooling. However, it worked fine at night.Despite these issues, the hotel has some notable highlights:1. The bay view is exceptionally beautiful.2. Breakfast options were plentiful and could be served on the bedroom balcony at a time of the guest’s choosing.3. The staff so kind and helpful.The hotel is close to the famous restaurant Taman Laut, you can walk to eat. And on the left there is a viewpoint. But you will have the same view as your room. Viewing the sunset and listening to the prayers at the same time, I found Labuan Bajo very charmingWalking into the center is actuallynot far at all. But the hotel is on the hill, so you have to walk down the hill and up when you back which is quite tiring.

The hotel is located on a slope from which you have a beautiful and unique view of the harbor. However, you have to overcome some steep paths to get to the room. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service for the 2 days we booked the hotel. Unfortunately, we also didn't have any warm water in the shower, but we didn't report this to the staff because of the short stay. Unfortunately, I can't say whether the defective pool and the cold shower were related. Overall, our room didn't seem very well maintained. There was mold on the walls in the lower area of the shower and there was older water damage above the bed, which had obviously not been repaired. The hotel did not make any concessions regarding the defective pool; in fact, the management subsequently denied that it was defective, even though there was a note in our room informing us about the defective pool and an employee also assured us when we asked had that the pool was still not usable because work was being done on it. This behavior left us somewhat disappointed afterwards. All in all, with the location and views, the hotel has significant potential and with a few renovations it would certainly get a recommendation from us.

Fabulous views from harbourmaster rooms. If you have mobility issues maybe this place is not for you on steep hill. Lovely staff. Comfortable beds. Highly recommend. 10 minute walk down the hill into town. Closest restaurant Taman Laut is excellent.
