Firstly, a big compliment to all the staff, from the reception to the craftsmen and the service staff. Everyone at this resort does a lot of work every day and tries to present the hotel in the best possible light. Chappeau for that. From the cleanliness after the room cleaning to the meals, there is nothing to criticise. The food was very tasty. If there was ever a minor insect problem, someone immediately jumped to the rescue - help was generally always offered immediately, even if it could perhaps have waited. The mosquitoes went relatively well, the hotel had also provided me with a repellent and if the mosquito nets on the bed were fitted correctly, there were no more problems in the sleeping tent. The only thing that could be noted here is that there were a few holes in the mosquito net, which should be sewn. What was great was that you could order breakfast at a certain time (in a specified window) and then sit down comfortably. Snacks or dinner could easily be ordered via WhatsApp. The team was also always available for questions via WA (the whole of Indonesia coordinates things via WA). As I was diving in Labuan Bajo, I was able to use the hotel's chauffeur, who also picked me up later in the city on call. It all worked out really well. The hotel facilities, including the pool, have nothing to criticise. As I spent a whole week here, I noticed that most guests were unfortunately only checked in for short stays and hadn't really explored the surrounding area - which is quite a sad thing.I really enjoyed my stay here - highly recommend itKind regards from "miss Diving" :)

A very nice place with the best views of the island and a super spacious private room. I don't give it a 5 because of the mosquitoes, really overwhelming. They give you anti-mosquito lotion when you arrive and the beds have curtains but they still bite during the day. All the service is super attentive, they bring breakfast and food to your room, they know you without saying which room you are in because they have few rooms and they are super attentive to everything. Of course, they charge an additional 2% if you pay by credit card, which nowadays and with what the hotel costs is an abuse.The massage itself is good but I don't recommend it because they do it in your own room, inside and it is a bit overwhelming, they should take advantage of the spectacular views to give a little quality to this point.

A dream place!We stayed two nights in these bamboo sea view villas and everything was spectacular! Breathtaking view with incredible sunsets.Excellent cleanliness and very friendly and helpful staff.Excellent breakfast. Free airport transfer.I recommend this little corner of paradise to everyone.

We loved everything about this place. Our family of 4 had a 2 bedroom place that overlooked the harbor. Sweet view. Just a few minutes from the main streets and they have a shuttle. There is a charge but it's worth it. Shuttle is very fast. They will pack breakfast boxes if you have early tours.

Hotel a few minutes from the airport on the hill of Labuan Bajo from where you can enjoy one of the best views of the bay. The rooms are clean and well furnished with external bathroom. Peculiarities: the interiors of the rooms, some stairs to access them and the walls of the external bathroom are made entirely of bamboo. Very kind staff and always ready to respond to every need: they themselves suggested we change rooms without any problem due to the presence of numerous mosquitoes. (A problem which they explained to us is not totally solvable due to the very nature of bamboo. The choice is yours.) Effective and scented anti-mosquito cream offered upon arrival. Rooms equipped with a drop curtain on the bed. Shuttle service to and from the airport included.Breakfast choice from a limited selection, a little too basic but the flavors weren't bad.Overall we had a good time.

Position is nice, a bit too close to the airport but the view is very nice. Rooms are pretty, and clean too. Breakfast... not really what we expected. We can choose just one thing, like just pancakes, plus one beverage. That's it, nothing more, unless you pay for the extra. quite disappointing.

We had a 5 night stay at Elang Hillside Bamboo Villas.It was all perfect. The place is wonderful, with amazing views of the bay (ideal for sunset), the cabins are beautiful, clean, with hot water and air conditioning. The staff was super friendly and attentive to our requests. The breakfast was very rich and what you could order from room service was also very good.It is a little far from Labuan Bajo (3-4 minutes by motorcycle or taxi) but that actually seems like an advantage to me because the place is very quiet, you just have to keep in mind that you will either need a motorcycle or shuttle service. taxi-transfer to go down and up to the town.

The word is too often overused nowadays, but i can tell you, Elang is ‘Amazing’, and so are all the staff!The view from villa 4 and 5 are the best sunset views you will get on Flores!The bamboo villas give a great feel of really being ‘off the beaten path’ and that you are somewhere special, saying this, you are only a 5 minute ride into town.The staff, Yenita, Santy and the crew were so accomodating, they went above and beyond when they really didn’t need to, it made the stay so much more fun.Enough of my review, just look at the photos 🙂

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful location! The views are insane. The staff are fantastic and so helpful plus the food is yum! It’s a bit far from town but the hotel has a very helpful car service that will take you and pick you up very quickly and for a reasonable price. We had a great stay

This was the best hotel to stay before (after) the flight.We spent two nights at the hotel.The beautiful view from our house compensated for the fact that the sea was closed to ships.The hotel delivers to/from the airport.There is an Italian restaurant nearby.We liked the seafood pasta and Dory fish.Breakfast is served in the bungalow along with coffee and other small delights, enough to spend the morning with a cup of coffee.The attitude of the staff is good. It is possible to come to an agreement and understand each other.My husband had a bad back and we couldn’t leave at 12:00, so we agreed to stay two hours after check-out.We thank the team for spending time with you.
