Namu Guesthouse is in an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk to the Ijen area and close to several charming cafés. I was fortunate to secure a weekend stay, as the rooms tend to book up quickly. The check-in process was seamless, likely due to the limited number of rooms, and after paying a deposit of 50,000 IDR, I was able to head straight to my room.I stayed in the "Namu 28" room, which was quite spacious for a solo traveler staying for two days. The room features a modern industrial design but remains neat, clean, and well-organized. With only a handful of rooms available, parking space is limited to around 4-5 cars. However, since the hotel is tucked away in a small alley, it was quiet, providing a peaceful environment for sleeping.For breakfast, they offer simple options such as bread and jam, along with coffee and tea. A shared microwave is also available for guests who wish to heat up their food.Overall, this "guesthouse" has earned its popularity due to its trendy design, affordable prices, comfort, and prime location. I highly recommend Namu Guesthouse for anyone looking for a stylish, budget-friendly, and conveniently located place to stay.

The design and atmosphere are very homely. For the size of the guest house, it is very good and well recommended.Room: modern design, TV equipped with YouTube and other streaming (must log in to your own account)Breakfast: can't be compared to a hotel but is enough with plain bread + chocolate / strawberry / blueberry jam. There is a coffee machine set with cappuccino/latte/milo. Need more? Since it's a vacation, it's better to go out for culinary snacks.The location is close to the Oro Oro Dowo market. Access is quite easy everywhere.Feedback for service to focus more on details, when checking in in the afternoon it was wrong because the room was given to someone else who should have been in another type. Even though I left the bag in the morning, even though I couldn't get it in yet because it wasn't yet 2 o'clock... It could be finished quickly.

Strategic location, the ambience is the best 🫶🏼. The service for this level of guesthouse is the best🫶🏼. From the moment we arrived, there were guys there who welcomed us and helped us carry our suitcases + helped us put them in our room. The receptionist was friendly and detailed in explaining the do's and don'ts.

It was my first time visiting Malang and staying here, both in room and services was great, moreover they provide coffee, tea and toast for free. I will definitely recommend this cozy guest house while staying in Malang to my relatives.
