Our stay was relaxing and the vibe was so peaceful. The resort has a wonderful staff and the rooms are clean with good space. If you want to stay away from crowded places to also try meditation and other Spa services then definitely stay here. Their Team is quick with responses too.

I just had an amazing honeymoon experience in Kelapa Retreat. I found the resort through Google researches and Kadek was so helpful helping me to book the villa. The resort met all of our expectations, the facilities were just perfect. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days, which was a great amount of time. Already from the airport, the driver was really nice and helpful. Bali traffic jam is really something that we are not used to, but I didnt feel unsafe or anything like that. The hotel is about 3 hours from the airport. Arriving to our room, there was an entire arrangement with flowers and a such welcoming experience. The private pool is huge, clean, beautiful and in front of a beach that is very pretty - but also not very friendly to swim because the waves are kinda big. The staff is very friendly and always ready to answer to any request. We had an afternoon tea overlooking the mountains and it was so worth it. The room is always clean, towels were exchanged from day to day. The external facilities were great and we were often caught by the great smell of incense sticks. It is for sure the perfect place for couples. Everyone was so respectful. It is a place to rest, relax and connect with nature for sure. The restaurant is great, the breakfast was really great and we had an amazing experience!!! We hope Kelapa can be our anniversary escape every year. Can’t thank you guys enough, I hope we’ll come back very soon. 😊🥰🩷✨

It’s true that it takes time and patience to get there, but what a nice surprise! We had booked for a week and were a little worried about the distance of this hotel but that was not the case at all. You have to know what you want and do your research because if you like shopping and partying without trendy places, then you should avoid it. We loved the calm and serenity of this place: magnificent beach and not so dangerous for swimming, spacious room, very very good restaurant and what can we say about the staff?! They really take care of their customers. We had booked a yoga, mediation and massage package and we were also treated to a romantic dinner, an afternoon tea in a surprise location of great beauty and a Balinese purification full of spirituality.It was really refreshing. We will come back with pleasure!A big thank you to Adida, our very professional and attentive yoga teacher, to Made, the fan of Disney's Ratatouille, to Ari, very funny and so smiling, to Bella the adorable intern and to our masseuses who personally made me crazy good and relieved my pain. And we forget lots of others!!!Many thanks! Go there with your eyes closed for a retreat rather than a crowd bath 😅

Our family stay at Kelapa Retreat & Spa was easily one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Nestled in the beautiful and tranquil setting of West Bali, the journey there was longer, but once we arrived, it was clear that every minute was worth it. The villas were stunning – I stayed in a Garden Pool Villa, and my parents enjoyed a Beach View Villa, both offering their own unique charm.The staff were warm, welcoming, and consistently attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The calm, peaceful atmosphere allowed us to fully unwind and enjoy the serenity. The food was delicious, and the service was flawless – the kind of hospitality that truly makes you feel special.Our driver, Putu, made our family trip even more enriching. He was not only friendly but gave us a real insight into the local culture, taking us to hidden gems and providing detailed explanations. He carefully planned the itinerary to avoid tourist spots at peak times, which made our experience even more enjoyable. One of the most magical moments was releasing baby turtles on the beach, an experience that deeply connected us to Balinese traditions.The beach itself was breathtaking, with postcard-worthy sunsets that we’ll never forget. On the last night before we left, the staff organized a beautiful beachside dinner that added an extra touch of magic to our stay. Even before we arrived, their communication through WhatsApp was excellent, making everything smooth and easy. I can’t recommend Kelapa Retreat & Spa enough – it was everything we could have hoped for and more!

Amazing hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. It is very clean and away from the busy city, the staff here are very friendly thank you all for their kindness and helping us with everything, I told them that I am allergic to mosquito and ant bites, so they prepared the room well and I did not find any insect inside the room. It takes about 3 hours from the airport to the hotel, but it is worth it, my advice is to book a hotel's transfer to the hotel, the driver was nice and the car was comfortable. We will definitely come back again.

I had the most wonderful stay at this resort, the hotel is far from the busy life of Bali, it’s for the people who want to relax, wind down, connect with nature and experience Balinese culture!I have spent here 7 days, not a dull moment, the nature, beach, the overall spirituality of this place !Honestly it has exceeded my expectations, what made this resort better was the kindness of the Balinese people, Edy, via, made and many more I felt the love and kindness! They throw me a birthday celebration and dinner with flowers on my last day, it’s a top notch service!!Also the food is amazing, you have to try the coconut pie !100% recommended !!

Nice place, rooms are clean. There are no problems with water in the shower, the pressure is good. Clean tidy beach. This area is one of my favorites on the island. Polite staff. Overall this place is inspiring. But the spa prices are very high. There are no problems with massage in Bali and it is not very expensive. If people come to not only relax but also enjoy a massage, they will have to pay twice as much as a regular massage in Bali. We were offered an evening buffet menu of 575 per person, but in fact it turned out that half of what they offered was not on the menu. But! The breakfast was excellent, I really liked it. But the evening buffet is not up to par with the amount they offer. The most delicious dish in a local restaurant is Rendang pizza. Alcoholic cocktails are also very good. The place is very secluded.

Stayed 5 nights at Kelapa and booked the Honeymoon package which comes with a lot of add ons, worth it!From the very beginning Kadek was there to support all along. If I had to name my top three at Kelapa it would be the staff in number one, absolutely given everything, friendly and helpful in every situation. Secondly surely the amazing location right at the beach, you can take hour long walks without even seeing a single person. Thirdly the food. Local chefs are cooking fantastic local dishes and flavours.The hotel offers a new tour called “Afternoon Tea”, which is highly recommended! We tried it as part of the honeymoon package and would do it over and over again. You’ll be driven to the top of a mountain to a hidden spot with amazing views.Overall a fantastic experience!

To all those who are seeking a five star experience - this is not the place for you. Kelapa is far, far, far away from a five star hotel. To be honest, not even close to a four star hotel. It is a 3 star hotel experience at max. The rooms are old, the facility is old and the equipment is old. We let the manager on the arrival day that we want to leave again, because we immediately realized that this hotel will not meet our expecrations. Their website and instagram page is not reflecting reality. Their marketing departement is overselling and this is not doing them any favor. With this approach you will lose trust immediately after seeing Kelapa with your own eyes. We booked for 4 nights but left after 3 nights. The nature and beach is amazing and this was the only reason we stayed. Unfortunately, their food was such a low level that we just ate on the first day and afterwards we skipped breakfast and always ate outside. As we are vegan, we went to the Lost Lindenberg for lunch and dinner.Price/value is not in balance at Kelapa. We can not recommend this hotel, as the flaws and gaps to a five star hotel are just to big. The employees were kind and tried their best, but as well their service level was not even close to what you can get elsewhere for the same price.TL;DR - not even close to a five star hotel, terrible food but amazing nature and beach

One of the best resorts I have ever stayed at. The rooms are luxurious and clean, big, comfortable. Perfect bed with sliding glass doors that opened out to our private pool, sound of the ocean, food was incredible, the spa had the best massage. Loved Yulia's massage, best I have ever had. Maddy took us on the free daily activity of walking the neighborhood and seeing how Bali people live, she was fun and lively. Made and Ardi in the kitchen made us the best food and made sure our Vegan needs were met. What a vacation!
