I stayed at Gending Sari Guest House for a month during my time in Ubud, and it was an amazing experience. While the location isn't super central, the stunning rice paddy views more than make up for it. Waking up to that view every day was a highlight of my stay.The rooftop is incredibly cozy, perfect for enjoying a morning or evening tea or coffee (which they provide for free). There’s also a shared common area and kitchen, which was really convenient. Plus, they have a cat and three adorable kittens that made the stay even more homely!The owner and staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. I’d easily give this place a 5/5, and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud.

This place is surrounded by beautiful rice fields and a view of My. Agung (when it's clear). Very quiet & super clean! The shared kitchen is large, well-equipped and always spotless. The rooftop is awesome for hanging out, enjoying the views & observing the wildlife. Perfect spot for morning yoga or coffee! The owner & staff make you feel like family and are happy to help with anything you may want. There is a security guard at night (he's very nice) & the owner lives about 2 minutes from the property. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance & it's a short drive (10 minutes) to the center of Ubud. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a cheap place to stay near Ubud. Great for female solo travelers. I've been here for 10 days alone, & walk or Go-Jek most places, it's very safe.
