Alam Bali lake view is a scam! These amazing photos are stolen from Batur Cliff Panorama guest house further up the hill. We were very disappointed when we arrived, because the rooms and views were nothing like in the google photos. The description in agoda is also incorrect, Akam Bali lake view has small beds and does not contain a sofa.

Beware of scam!!!! The hotel no longer exists! Two hotels resemble it but after visiting both, they both pass the buck and neither has the same name. In short, a great scam!

We absolutely cannot understand the many positive reviews. The only positive thing for us was the view and the friendliness of the young guide who works and more or less lives there. We had a very nice evening with him.But that's it. The guide lives there more or less as written. But he doesn't have a room or anything. No, he can sleep outside. This is a human absurdity for us. It's better to leave out the other details that we learned here. I don't want to cause him any trouble.The owner himself seems to only be interested in your money. He was only there for a short time when we arrived and immediately after 5 minutes he tried to sell us the Batur tour.But the worst thing was the cleanliness. The beds were dirty and stained, the walls were smudged, an electrical outlet was coming out of the wall and there were black spots everywhere. We felt like we got the worst of the rooms, even though we were alone. At least compared to the terraces. We weren't in any other rooms.The environment is generally very unpleasant. It stinks everywhere and there are TONS of flies. Always. Everywhere. No matter where you are.We actually wanted to stay for 2 nights, but left after one.Oh yes, and we had fried bananas for breakfast. That's it.

Love their hospitality and their ginger tea.
There is a tracking way to see sunrise or sunset, hence you need to prepare a nice shoes since it is a bit slippery.

If I go to Kintamani again, I will come back and stay here again! The view is really "makes me feel fresh when I wake up in the morning, the air is fresh and what I really like is that Bli, who owns this villa, and the caretaker are also really cool and kind, the service is really" okay and doesn't disappoint π Thank you Bli and the team for being very, very kind to us π π

We had a great stay and experience at Mowgliβs place!! He did everything for us to be comfortable. The place is located very close to Mount Batur, this is the best spot if you want to climb it in the early morning with the guides working at Alam Bali Lake View too. People were really nice with us it was a great occasion to discuss with locals and enjoy the incredible view on the lake and the volcanos!Thanks a lot for having us we will remember our stay for a long time!

We had a really good night in this hotel ! They treated us like king, made us a fire and went pick us some food. We had good chat with them and we organized a trip with them for batur and it was really good. Nice people there and the room are very comfy ! I recommend it

Really recommended for those who like silence and natural beauty... good service, super friendly and kind ownerThe only problem with the swimming pool is that the water is not clean... we can improve the cleanliness of the poolThe view is very beautiful so a little bit of a drawback will be rewarded with satisfaction from the view...thank you for serving our event wellππ
