Everything was perfect! Very kind, dedicated, attentive and helpful hosts, clean rooms in a very quiet location. They cook good meals and the value for money is exceptional!I highly recommend! 🙏🏼

It was perfect!The place is perfect for staying, relaxing and hiking to Mount Batur.Mario and his wife were available at any time and always responded immediately to inquiries. The included breakfast was very tasty and freshly prepared. The rooms are friendly, clean and the view is fantastic!The flies can be annoying, but the hosts can't help that; you get used to it.I would always come back.

Everything was perfect!The rooms are tastefully decorated and spacious, the place is bucolic and quiet.Special mention for the staff who are lovely and helped us find a guide for Mount Batur and a taxi for the rest.I highly recommend!

It feels brand new, clean, and very private. They only have 3 rooms so far. Their yard is what I like the most. You can see the mountain from the room.Soaking up the sun in the morning at the yard while enjoying my cappuccino was very memorable.They also helped me to arrange the mount batur trekking trip, very recommended!Their nasi goreng was very yummy! They also have a very cute cat as a front desk 😆The downside:- Their water pressure was a lil bit weak (understandable because it's very far from the city)- Be aware that so many flies in Kintamani area because it's farm.

I liked everything, the owners are very friendly, they organize an excursion to Batur, feed you breakfast, the room is clean, tidy, everything is new, but it was too cold, we warmed ourselves with a blanket and a hair dryer 🤪

Highly recommend staying at Hillside! We had a wonderful stay here. The bungalows are very spacious, nice and clean. The views are amazing! It’s a perfect place for your mnt Batur trekking and to explore the rest of the area.But most of all, the hosts are some of the best we’ve met on Bali! They really make an effort to make you feel very welcome. They are very helpful and can arrange anything for you, whether that’s a trekking, a motorbike or a taxi. (They also can get you tickets with discount for the hotsprings!!)Often they will offer you a cup of coffee or tea and you’ll get a freshly made banana pancake to go with it. We loved our stay here!

Stayed at this property for two nights and I can highly recommend it!+reception is super hospitable. We got coffee and tea with a snack.+hospitality is central here. You will be helped with booking a scooter or taxi and tours are also offered that are cheaper if you book them yourself.+the room is super spacious, new and clean. The bed is fantastic and the bathroom is also new. In short; fully equipped.+the view is breathtakingly beautiful.+price-quality ratio is excellent.In short; go here. Highly recommended!

Two charming, quiet rooms (new, clean and well decorated) and the warm welcome from our hosts are to be recommended.You can eat right next door in the family warung.And you will be very close to the start of the walk to climb Mount Batur

Small and cozy facility. It is very quiet and you have a great view of the Batur. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The owners very attentive. We were there on Silent Day. We liked it very much.

The room service was very good. Staying 2 nights here was very pleasant and the atmosphere was calm, the owner was very friendly and helped a lot during our stay here, it's just that the road to the location where we stayed there were several roads that were quite extreme but still passable. happy to be able to stay here ✨

Hillside Bali is truly a hidden gem. If you are tired of busy south coast head to the North and experience some real Bali. Mario and his wife were one of the modest and kind people we met on our travels and I really wish everyone to experience their endless hospitality. The two villas are brand new and offering everything you need. Bed and linen are 5* hotel quality and everything is crystal clear. We felt really welcomed and honestly happy we could support some local owners. Mario can organize a guide to Mt. Batur, motorbike rental or cheaper tickets to the hot springs.

At Bali Cottage, the magic starts with the owners, a couple who run the place from a small hut right next door. Their friendliness and attention to detail are out of this world.They don't just run a hotel; they make you feel at home. They arranged a private tour for us to hike Mount Batur and went above and beyond what you'd expect. Instead of just letting our guide pick us up, they woke up at 3:30 am to give us hot ginger tea and see us off at the base camp for our hike. This kind of care is so rare and special.The cottage is lovely, with an untouched charm and a beautiful front yard. It's the perfect place to stay if you're looking to hike Mount Batur or just want some peace and quiet. We absolutely loved it and can't recommend it enough!

A great accommodation with great hosts. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The hosts always made sure that you didn't miss anything. The location is a bit remote and only local taxi drivers drive there, which are also more expensive than grab or Gojek. You can also book the hike up Batur directly with the host, which I also recommend. Thanks for the great time you both. ☀️
