We stayed for two weeks, since we liked that place so much. The stuff will help you with everything you need, very very friendly. The vibe, the food, the yoga classes⊠everything was wonderful. I learned so much and found new friends. And all this for an affordable price, also for low budget backpackers. I recommend it to everyone! đđ»

I had the pleasure of staying at Shanti Toya for six days, and it has truly transformed me. As someone who isnât typically into yoga or meditation, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the private meditation sessions (available upon request). The serene surroundings allowed me to fully disconnect from daily life and focus on being present.The team is absolutely wonderful, attentive, and they went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The experience has given me tools and insights I know I will carry with me in everyday life. I canât wait to return and will highly recommend this retreat to my loved ones. I had a really nice stay In Shanti Toya. The yoga class, the meal, and the staff are all incredible. It is situated in a quiet place, but still near to nice places. I would definitely recommend that place, and if I have the opportunity, I would come back!

The yoga classes are always so good, various in styles, sometimes challenging and sometimes deeply relaxing and just eyeopening. A perfect mixture. The area is beautiful, the food amazing, the people who work here are kind and friendly and always doing a wonderful job. Massages are like heaven.

A really special place on Bali! Amazingly friendly staff and very nice yoga classes for all levels. This is a great destination wether you just want to do some yoga or are on a spiritual journey, you can just relax and take a breather from live. They also offer interesting events to get insights into balinese culture. I absolutely loved my stay here.There is some room for improvement: the pool area is really nice but lacks furniture for relaxing, as does the rest of the accommodation except for your own room and chairs in the restaurant. I didn't really know where to go when I had some free time and just wanted to chill. The food is also really good but gets a little repetitive after a few days, especially the breakfast.

A little paradise in the middle of nature. Kindness, friendliness, efficiency and flexibility characterize the staff and their management. Ideal place for those seeking simplicity and authenticity far from chaos. Excellent yoga teachers who do not forget to explain the teachings related to Hinduism. Reconnection with body and mind. Delicious vegetarian food that doesn't cause any 'tourista' problems. Easy to organize getaways to visit the region with English speaking and very helpful drivers.I absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a return to the simplicity of life.

If you're looking to escape the crowds and the evergrowing 'instagram' scene of Bali, to a place that feels authentic, family-based and ethical - Shanti Toya is the place for you. It is an absolute haven of peace, set in the middle of the jungle in a tiny but beautiful village about 45 minutes from Ubud. Accommodation is very basic, which I like (but come prepared for mosquitos, spiders, frogs, lizards!), and the grounds of the ashram are just stunning. The spring pool is a gorgeous place to relax during the day, and the open shala - set up in the trees - is the perfect setting for your daily yoga practice. The local yoga teachers were incredibly knowledgeable, warm, friendly and inclusive, and I loved the range of sessions available. I am a yoga teacher, and felt sufficiently challenged by the classes, but many in my group were also complete beginners and felt it was accessible to them too. The food was simple and delicious, the staff were just wonderful, and the management did everything they could to make the week easy and enjoyable, including transfers to and from the airport. Shanti Toya feels like what I imagine a traditional 'retreat' would have been like 30 years ago, before Bali became flooded with yoga tourism. It's perfectly simple, and allows the beauty of the practice to do the talking. Thanks Shanti Toya for a memorable week, I will definitely be back :)

I had the most amazing, special week at Shanti Toya â€ïžI was pretty nervous about going on my own and as someone very new to yoga but I had no need to worry! The yoga was so good and taught by local teachers which made it feel very authentic. They taught to all abilities (beginner - advanced) and I felt really comfortable in all of the classes. I learnt and improved so much within the week.All of the staff were so so lovely and they learnt everyoneâs names too! The food was amazing and all of the daily activities were really fun (also obviously optional so you can choose which youâd like to do). The rooms were basic but had everything you needed and the grounds were stunning - such a lovely fresh water pool.I honestly canât recommend this retreat enough - an extremely authentic Balinese yoga experience with amazing attentive staff and an amazing group of people đ«¶đ»

Shanti Toya is a special little spot nestled into the jungle that is warm, friendly, genuinely caring and kind with a family feel. It is way more than I expected, from the community engagement and support to all the offerings we received everyday above and beyond the delicious food and challenging Hatha classes. I will be back and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to land after a long trip, a recharge, or a sacred space to engage with yourself and others in a deeper more meaningful way. Much Gratitude to Kalina, Weedy, Putu, Ari, Ilu, Made and Ibu Agus, as well as everyone else who makes it run so smoothly. Namaste
