Nice accommodation, with good breakfastAcres and very nice little property with pool.Unfortunately, it is not advisable to stay there for anyone who doesn't like being surrounded by 5-10 roosters in the morning from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. in complete stereo. It made sleeping impossible and every morning a mental ordeal. In addition, at night you were constantly bothered by the very loud noise of motorcycles from the adjacent street, which makes Oropax mandatory here.The toilet seat was also broken and not attached.

I went to this place by Airbnb, first the picture that Airbnb showed wasn’t real it was totally different and deteriorated room, no hot water and also I left my AirPods there by mistake and they told us, they didn’t find anything and the location of the airports still there.So bad experience and you cannot trust if you left something there because they won’t give you back

We stayed here for 3 nights. The host family was extremely friendly. They also had a cute little dog.If there was anything, you could always get in touch and the family was extremely helpful. You can also rent scooters directly here. From this location it takes 15-30 minutes to get to the “town” down by the harbor (depending on the traffic situation). It only takes about 12-15 minutes to get to Crystal Beach. The famous Kelingking Beach is also no more than half an hour away. In general everything is very easy to reach. Breakfast was always brought to the terrace on time. You could choose whatever you wanted. There were various things such as: Pancakes, or eggs.However, the accommodation is more for early risers, as the noise level was a little higher early in the morning (road, animals, etc.).However, for us this was excellent because we were woken up by the rooster in the morning and were able to get to the sights early, such as. Kelingkingbeach, or diving at Manta Point. It is definitely advisable to do this early, as the sights are overrun with tourists after 9 a.m.!!!In general I would stay here again especially. because it was very inexpensive.

When we arrived we were more than disappointed with the location (roadside more than passenger) and the room……. smell of humidity ++++, cracked walls, bedside lamp without connection, dark room and once we arrived there we had to cancel our reservation because it was impossible to sleep there.false advertising !

It was nice there. Big room. Gecko droppings in bed. Otherwise very clean. Didn't smell at all, unlike many other accommodations in Bali. But it was quite loud at night (external noises) and the curtains were quite bright. There was always light shining in. Pool was small but nice and warm. Hosts were nice. We were provided with extra towels for the beach. Ma can also rent a scooter there and order a taxi service. Breakfast was ok. Prefer breakfast in restaurants. From the location it takes 30 minutes in both directions to the beaches.

Putu and his family were lovely hosts. Homemade breakfasts consisting of scrambled eggs, omelette with toast or banana pancakes with fresh fruit and coffee/juice were delicious. Putu was very helpful suggesting sites to see, places to eat, organising day trips or tickets for experiences, and driving us around or available scooter hire. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with good air conditioning and wifi. Thanks for everything 😁

We enjoyed our stay here. The owners were really friendly, nice location. It’s very near Vegan Soul Kitchen where we ate every day. Haha. We got breakfast at the cottage. Fruit was the only option for us we enjoyed it.

My other half and I stayed seven nights here. Couldn’t have asked for a better homebase. Air quality, cleanliness, breakfast was all superb. The bed was so comfy and the hosts (husband & wife) had such an amazing hospitality. The scooter rental was 70 K and his mother sells water and patrol a minute left from Mountain cottage for a great price. Hosts had a dog which was very friendly and quiet. One thing to add was the walls were paperthin so keep in mind to be respectful of your neighbors. location was ideal half hour from the sites and a 13 minute walk or three minute scooter ride down to the best food on the island- vegan soul kitchen. Overall you will not regret staying at the mountain cottages!
