A great place for surfers and non-surfers alike. Kismet provides a safe sanctuary full of kind souls, a beautiful dog and a generous, welcoming and funny host!If you are looking to stay somewhere where you will feel at home, look no further than Kismet. You will feel at home from the second you step through the door. The rooms are cosy and well-priced, the kitchen is well-stocked and nice to chill in, and there is also a small gym to use. Additionally, there is a cheap warung just next door which serves tasty local food.Seriously, look no further than Kismet! You will not regret booking your stay here

Kismet became the home that I was missing on Bali. Sarah the host has this magic with her that makes you so so happy. Kismt itself is such a beautiful place. There is a garden and the open kitchen is like the heart of the community. This area is quiet and relaxed. You are so close to the most beautiful beaches and Uluwatu Center is not far away.

When you see travellers returning over and over again to the same hotel, you know it’s an excellent place to stay. This is a non-pretentious homestead and yet offers everything that you need: nice clean facilities, silence and a friendly chat every time you go to the kitchen area and find another guest, Sarah or Sir William (the most gentle dog in Bukit). The rates are affordable, and everything you need nearby: warungs, laundry, supermarkets and my favourite bakery in Uluwatu, Made. The region gives you old Bali vibes. If you are a solo traveller and/or digital nomad who needs silence and appreciate some company, this is your place!

The most welcoming and kind host running the place, always offering help and a friendly chat. The room was clean, really comfy bed, a desk and good air-conditioning. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. I extended a few times. Amazing stay.

Wonderful! Sarah is incredibly kind🫶🏼 The accommodations are good, clean and very cute, the garden is large and full of fruit treesThere is also a very good warrung right next door where I ate every day!☺️Best place in Bali, I can only recommend!!!

Such a wonderful place to stay. The rooms have nice big desks which are perfect if you need to do a bit of work. The kitchen is the hub and you'll always find the host Sarah or another guest there if you want to chill out and have a chat. Sarah supplies everything you need, medicines, cleaning supplies, toilet supplies and even some instant noodles for a late night feast. It's just a nice place to be and a really friendly vibe. I definitely recommend staying at Kismet and will be back for sure.

I recently stayed at Kismet in Bukit, and it honestly felt like a second home. Sarah, our host, was incredibly welcoming and kind. Kismet is a perfect spot for solo travelers, slow travelers, digital nomads, and surfers, and the credit for this goes to Sarah's warm and welcoming nature.Sarah goes the extra mile to introduce guests to each other, making it easy to connect with fellow travelers from around the world. Even if you're an introvert like me, there's no need to worry – you'll definitely make friends at Kismet. You can go surfing, diving, and party together, so you're sure to make lasting friendships here.Also there's a working desk in the room and the environment is quiet , enabling you to focus on work.One thing that stands out about Kismet is how Sarah takes care of her guests. She has even set up two surf racks in a shaded corner, keeping them away from the sun and showing she understands what matters to her guests. Moreover, Sarah genuinely cares about your well-being and your experience during your stay and takes the time to get to know each guest personally.All in all, Kismet feels like a true home away from home. I highly recommend it to solo travelers, slow travelers, digital nomads, and surfers looking for an unforgettable experience.

Like HOME ❤️Best place to stay around Ungasan area (20min to Uluwatu) if you are a solo traveler or digital nomad, and you are looking for a quite place, good vibes and nice people.Sarah (the host) can’t be more amazing. A home away from home, well thought out and cared for surfers stay, 30m walk to minimart, well priced local warung, laundry and western style resto & bakery, peaceful garden, shared kitchen and dining area, well secured and a thoughtful host in Sarah!Planned optional group activities and info group!

The stay here was amazing! There was always a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The house has everything for a comfortable stay, including a surfboard rack in the shade, and just a few steps away, there are inexpensive and delicious cafes and bakeries. A huge thank you to the kind and responsive host, Sarah, for her advice and assistance.I will definitely come back here next year.

Sarah's place is one of the classic full of good vibes bukit homestays. Great energy, quiet spot with a beautiful garden right next to one of the cheapest and best local eatery's of the whole southern Bali. Sarah is very insightful and helpful. The rooms are in my opinion easily the best bang for buck around bukit. Ac, hot shower and clean rooms for that price is just too good of a deal to skip!

Sarah is a lovely host! Everything was very easy-going and I loved every minute there. It‘s a quiet but comfy accommodation and Sarah is always up for a nice little chat. Her dog (I think she has 2 now) is very cute too!

Thank you so much for the last two months! Kismet is a very special homestay that has become a second home! Sarah is the best host you can imagine and you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. I miss it so much already and will definitely be back!The garden of the homestay is a little oasis in busy Bali and the open kitchen invites you to chat with other guests and Sarah. There is everything you need for everyday life.The area is in a great location. There are a few small shops, a good café and a restaurant just around the corner, and Melasti and Timbes Beach are only 10 minutes away by scooter.All in all, I can recommend it 100% and can't wait to come back!

I spent two months in Sarah's accommodation, and it truly felt like a second home. Sarah is a warm-hearted person who always had an open ear and cared deeply for her guests. We shared many beautiful moments together, and her two adorable dogs added to the joyous atmosphere.The accommodation is peacefully located yet conveniently connected, making it the perfect retreat during my stay. For me, it became a cherished home away from home.I cannot express enough how wonderful my time was with Sarah and her accommodation. If you're looking for a place with a loving host where you can create lasting memories, I highly recommend staying in this homestay . I absolutely loved my stay at Pandawa lodge! It was the most homely stay I have had in my 3 months of travelling. The rooms have everything you need and more. Sarah is the most amazing host - so friendly and helpful but also gives you the perfect amount of privacy. It was like staying with family. The location is great- you get the tranquility of it being a bit remote but then it’s so easy to get to Uluwatu or Nusa Dua even for someone like me who can’t drive - there are lots of grab/Gojek rides available for a really good price! I would visit again the next time I’m in Bali. Thank you Sarah!

I had a wonderful stay with Sarah, so I was happy to extend it. You have everything you need in your own room and you can spend wonderful time with other guests or Sarah in the cozy common area with kitchen. Sarah was the most loving host of all on my entire trip to Asia!

Too many good things to say about this place.Sarah is just simply a legend, she was so welcoming and made me feel right at home! I was only there for 3 nights but I left with a new friend who I'm looking forward to revisiting as soon as possible!Also the location is perfect, nestled right in between a delicious and cheap warung, a convenience mart, a laundry and a bakery that does an amaaazing chocolate cheesecake!I also met some really cool guests there and it was nice to share stories and advice on the best places to see and food to eat in the area.Also hot water, aircon and a comfy bed and the garden is shared also with passionfruit and lemon grass for the morning tea!
