Urban View was such a welcome change after our previous hotel. From the beginning the owners made you feel like family (in the best possible way) . They were attentive to our needs and generous with their time. The room was perfect, clean and fresh. You can see a lot of thought and love has been put into the place and it shows. We initially only booked 2 nights but ended up staying 5. We are genuinely sad to be leaving and I would go so far as to say the family that run it are now our friends. Would come back without hesitation if we ever end up back in Palangkaraya.They will also soon have a courtyard cafe open - we got to sample the delicious coffee, my only regret was it wasn't finished during our stay.

For cool buildings. Spacious rooms. The bathroom is also spacious. But the minus is that the AC is not cold at all. Checking in from 10 am to 7 pm didn't feel cold at all. Must be repaired again for AC comfort. The application on the top floor is incredibly hot.

The air conditioner is hot so it's not a recommendation, there's no hot water, the sound from the next room and from outside penetrates into it so it's very disturbing. Moreover, in the next room there was a couple who were having sex, their voices could be heard clearly

The building is similar to a boarding house, the shape of the rooms is not like hotels in general. What's good here:1. The location is calm and quiet, but not far from the city center.2. Clean rooms, friendly staff3. Each room has a balcony, suitable for smokers4. There are 2 towels, tissue and 2 bottles of drinking water provided by the staff5. TV okayPerfection only belongs to the Almighty, so this hotel also has shortcomings:1. The AC takes a long time to cool, I have it for 8 hours and it feels cold.2. The shower water runs smoothly but doesn't get hot3. Sink no4. There is only 1 plug socket, it is located above the bed and quite out of reach. Just to be safe, bring an electrical cableIf you're just resting, this place is still okay because the environment is also calm and quiet, serene. But for trips with fussy people, it's better to consider it first, rather than bickering. Hopefully this will also be a material improvement for Griya Menteng, the staff are good, only the room facilities need to be improved.

It's a bit inside, but it's just close to the front of the alley, yesterday the only problem was that the AC wasn't cold, the amenities for the lower rooms were added if possible, it's different from the upper rooms, that's all, overall it's good for sleeping if you're really tired, calm and friendly staff, wifi only B, can't really reach the end rooms.
