What an amazing find this villa and yolande is!An chic paradise nestled in the real culture of Bali. The villa is about 30 minutes from ubud and a shuttle service (bus for 10) included daily. You can go further or request a driver but this is an additional fee.You enter through a wandering path through the jungle, over a bridge, through hand carved doors into the gardens of the villa. villa Bali gita consists of 5 bedrooms, pool, snooker table, tennis court and is surrounded by outstanding natural beauty.The host, lovely yolande has been nothing but helpful from the moment we booked last year, infact I’m stumped in how to put her & this experience into words for the review.We chose to have a blessing in bali as we wanted to elope to say our vows and be wed at villa bali gita. We couldn’t have chosen a better place!Yolande was honest, knowledgeable and has the best team constantly cleaning, cooking and being at your beck and call as much or as little as needed. Having her visit us, her humour and come down from her house with her dogs made us feel like part of the family.Ayu is the head of kitchen and is equally as brilliant. Both ayu and yolande speak fantastic English so communicating was no problem. Ayu even got me a few personal items which I couldn’t find myself!As you can imagine,Trying to organise a wedding from the UK was tough due to time difference and knowledge of the area - if your thinking of doing the same 100% trust yolande to take control of your wedding - you will not be disappointed.For the wedding evening itself yolande arranged for decoration of the villa, organised Balinese music, traditional dancers and fire dancers - it was breathtaking! An unforgettable experience! We hadn’t organised a photographer for our evening meal but yolande recommended someone who we went ahead with at a reasonable price.Yolande attended, organised and helped us on our special day from 6am til 11pm. She insists everything to be organised and go as smooth as possible - even - luckily - kicking my (out sourced) photographers up the bum when needed!Ayu and her team cooked a fantastic Indonesian meal for our party and we had traditional Babi gulang which again, superb. Ayu can cook anything requested. She goes to local market to get goods daily- id suggest planning meals with your guests so you can get the best prices (large bags of rice etc) western food is harder to get (cheese for pizza etc) so the cost is greater. Ayu supplied receipts each shop.Roughly food most days/per day for 10 people was £50.Laundry can be done with a 2 day time around and is cheap as chips so recommend you take advantage of this too.Yolande and ayu have both been up at 2am (as lost baggage at airport) have acted as i in sorting that issue, helped iron our belongings etc and up again at 5am making breakfast and drinks before going on expeditions for the day.Yolande recommended therapists for massage on day requested and had we want more we had their WhatsApp and they come to you - massage outside listening to all of the noises of the jungle was truly magical!There are not enough words to describe how fantastic our stay has been. Infact I could stay here forever.After a week here in villa bali gita we realised we have been totally spoilt in embracing the culture of Bali.

A real gem - with a beautiful "Herskab" look.Beautiful location.Lovely staff and management.Can be highly recommended 🤗❤️
