Fabulous on all levels. Just paradise.A warm greeting from Mario was a perfect start to the stay.The property is a set of older style Balinese rooms which were large, cool and calm. It was extremely quiet and felt very peaceful.Having access to a kitchen as well as trying Mario's home baked sourdough was a joy.I cannot recommend Villa Shantitara highly enough, and although I do live in Sanur now, will be back if I ever need an escape to somewhere quiet and peaceful, and will recommend to visitors.Thanks so much.

Staying at this complex of bungalows was a really wonderful experience.Clearly alot of attention and love has been put in.The best breakfast if you are taking sourdough bread to a next level:very fresh,in the house made.Nothing was too much trouble and quickly resolved.Mario is a great person,caring and straightforward.A hidden gem,so good.Thank you Mario,we really appreciate your input:100%🙏🏼🙏🏼

Beautiful villa with a nice pool, and cool ambience. Most importantly, Mario, the host, was a true inspiration. After the grit and stress of big city life, you might rethink your whole belief system. And envision moving to Bali forever.

Maybe will be one of hidden gem nearby Sanur area. The place is very quiet and comfortable. Kids and family friendly. It has 4 bungalows for rent with very affordable price compare to its services. It has pool, mini bar with fridge and stove, nice garden, pets. Owner also very helpful, standby to help 24 hours. Breakfast is made by request, cook by owner itself.But access going here is very congested, prefer to ride motorcycle to go here.

We booked one of the villas at Shantitara Bungalows for the last two days of our Bali vacation. We arrived by car and thanks to Mario's (the owner) instructions, we took the correct turns despite the extremely narrow "gangs". There are I think the total of 3 rental villas in the compound, all with a shared central pool - which is beautifully designed and perfect for children. Mario also has his private mini zoo there :), which includes doves, rabbits, fish and a tortoise.We were provided fresh water all the time, it was always available in the central kitchen in the shared fridge. Mario also gave us some tips what to visit in the area, where to eat and shop.The villa was huge, with comfortable beds, AC and a nice and romantic outdoor shower with plants all over. Adjacent there was a small private terrace with a fish pond, where we could enjoy our meals or just a cup of coffee.To sum up: Shantitara Bungalows are totally recommended!

I stayed at Villa Shantitara, short stay, very welcoming, sociable and fantastic staff, I immediately felt at ease.Impeccable place, original, clean, details in each different bungalows, feeling of relaxation. Located close to various services. I would happily return.Advised.
