I recently moved into a brand new one-bedroom villa that includes a dining room and two bathrooms. Unfortunately, I discovered upon moving in that one of the bathrooms did not have hot water, an issue that had not been communicated to me beforehand.Despite initially liking the property, I found the construction situation to be highly misleading. I was informed that construction would take place from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. However, the actual schedule is from 8 AM to 12:30 AM, Monday-Thursday, and from 8 AM to 10 PM, Friday through Sunday. The construction occurs directly in the backyard, causing constant noise and disturbance, making it impossible to work, study, take phone calls, or sleep during the day if you work at night. Additionally, dust and debris from the construction frequently accumulate in the pool and on the kitchenette surfaces. Both bathroom sinks have leaks, with the one in the bedroom leaking severely. Despite bringing this to the attention of the property owner, the issue was never resolved. I was provided with a bucket to manage the leak, but no permanent solution was offered. The pool system is controlled from the neighbor's yard and is broken. Despite having a cleaner come three times a week, the pool remains unusable, akin to a bathtub filled with stagnant water. During my 2.5-month stay, I never had the opportunity to use the pool. They refuse to change the cleaner for his lack of execution in maintaining the pool.Given these issues, I would recommend opting for a month-to-month rental at this property to avoid potential disappointment. Construction won’t be finished until February or March is what the construction manager stated. The customer service is poor, with promises often made but rarely acted upon.I just want to save the next person from the hassles I had thinking this was a longterm stay with joy.
