During my planned tour of SE, I stayed at the Ubud Wana Resort for 4 nights.Good hotel not far from Ubud's main street but still in a quiet location.Very friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, rooms on the whole spacious and fine. Two pools, although it would be nice if there were more loungers for the rooms on the upper floor

A fine hotel with many German guests, 3 pools, very good breakfast and super nice staff. Unfortunately, a drawback is that there are only a limited number of pool loungers for the upper floor, which are automatically available in the rooms on the ground floor!

Surprised by a recent 1* review. This place is a great 4* hotel with comfortable room, 3 swimming pools and lovely, friendly staff. …

We really liked the Ubud Wana. Everything was clean and tidy. The hotel has 3 pools. The only thing that could certainly be improved here and there is the breakfast. The location was also great, just a few minutes walk from the Monkey Forest.

We were in a villa. This was very outdated. There is a refrigerator and a water cooler in the 2nd bedroom that will keep you awake at night with their loud noise. The swimming pool was dirty and the garden did not invite you to sit in. The breakfast in the hotel was very poor, so we only used it once.

The hotel is "a bit old", but clean and well maintained. Our room on the ground floor had direct access to the pool and its own loungers.Located in a small street with restaurants and cafes right around the hotel. Short walk to Monkey Forest. Google Maps doesn't show this route, so it's best to ask at reception.

We stayed in one of the villas at the resort for 3 nights. I am very surprised by the positive reviews, they were quite misleading. First and foremost, the staff here was absolutely lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. But that’s where the positives end, the villa was grungy to say the least, there was an overpowering moldy smell and there was black mold visible in the bathrooms. There were next to no windows and that made it feel very dark and damp. Our primary sink had a bad leak through the wall, which caused a great deal of water to leak all over the bathroom floor, which was a shock to step in when we woke up. When we reported this to the front desk, their solution was to shut the water off completely, so we weren’t able to use that sink for the remainder of our stay. The other sink did not drain, and almost over flowed while we were brushing our teeth. The villas are far from the main resort, and required a drop off by a golf cart. The area where they’re located is behind the Bohemia hotel and next to the very busy scooter road, between the monkey forest. There are lots of monkeys on the roof of the villa at night, which is cool, and we had a lot of interesting lizards in the open concept bathroom, which we loved. But we did see a dengue mosquito on our first night, which freaked us out considering the main bathroom has open windows and mosquitos can come and go.I wouldn’t recommend this resort, and I would take the positive reviews with a grain of salt. I wish I had’ve taken the negative reviews more seriously, as they paint an accurate picture.
