The rooms are really clean, spacious and comfortable. The air conditioner looked like new and there wasn't a single bug. A very good place for the price. It was quiet so I could sleep well, and the blankets and bedding were all good.The location is good too. There are snorkeling spots nearby and it is close to major places such as reasonable restaurants and beachfront restaurants.

I loved everything about Maja house. The location is super close to Freedive nusa, like 10minutes by walk. There are plenty of very good and cheap Warungs like 2minutes from the place. There is even 1 smaller market nearby. All the western food places and bigger market is near freedive nusa, so also very very close.The location is important, rooms were clean as well but the best and most enjoyable were the conversations with local people! I loved all the evenings I spent with Ronnie and Yuda talking about our cultures and exchanging thoughts on various topics. They recommended a lot of places to me and were very kind and friendly. It was really a big pleasure to meet you guys. Probably the thing I enjoyed the most on the island!I highly recommend Maja Homestay!!!

This is the second time I’ve stayed here in a short period of time. It’s a super quiet place just off the main road and so much food and restaurants nearby. The room is clean as well as the bathroom. AC works perfectly. The staff is also very helpful, if there is something you need you can either send them a text on WhatsApp or find someone working outside and they help you with anything.Super value place, would highly recommend!

I had such a good experience at Maja house. Roni and the staff are so helpful, attentive, and welcoming. The rooms are lovely and very clean. AC works great. Location is lovely and very close to some of my favorites like Penida Pantry, SD point, Secret Penida, etc. I highly recommend staying here!!!

Like other comments, it’s a hidden gem in Nusa Penida!Next time I go to Nusa Penida, I will stay at Maja House again!!The room is clean and spacious, and it's even cheap.The air conditioner and hot water worked well.There was a clothes drying rack in each room so I could dry my wet swimsuit after diving. The dressing table had a lot of storage space, making it easy to organize luggage, and it even included keys, making it easy to store important items. There are street stalls and a small supermarket right in front of the accommodation, and there is a dive shop and a famous restaurant about a 10-minute walk away.Ronnie, the owner of the accommodation, helped the guests with anything they needed and was so kind that I was touched.

This is such a great place with so nice and open hearted people! Feels like being part of the family! Everything is clean and beautiful! Quite place, good local restaurants arround, 3 minutes to the beach, renting good scooters, Love it!!!

We stayed for three nights. The hotel has a great value for money. The rooms are bright, large and clean. But what we liked so much about this accomodation was the service and friendliness of the hotel. Ronnie, works at hotel (from Nusa Penida) helped us with transfer to harbour, a snorkeling tour, recommendations and scooter rental. The hotel provided free water. The airco is working very well and the area / surrounding is not nosy. You can sit outside in front of your room, with a view over the garden. Again, value for the price you pay and a big 10! for the level of hospitality.

Our ferry to the island was unexpectedly cancelled, we didn't know about it.The hotel owners accommodated us and canceled our reservation, although it was non-refundable.Thank you for your humanity and understanding! 🙏

Maja House is spotlessly clean and new, the sheets smell fresh and great. I slept like a baby even without the air conditioning as the rooms stay cool even in the heat of the day. Roni, the manager, is so helpful and kind! He helped me with transportation, gave me contacts for my next stay, and was just supportive, helpful and understanding throughout. Thank you for everything, Roni!

i recommend this Hotel if you come to Nusa Penida. From arrival to departure he arranged everything at a good price. Super nice and willing to help you with everything. not far from the harbour. you get what you pay for, the room is perfect and air conditioning works perfectly.

The owner was lovely, we arrived late to the island due to the boat and he helped us find a motorbike to tour Nusa Penida and took us to the port completely free of charge. Not to mention how comfortable the beds are and how pleasant it is to be there with his smile always ready to help! A 10, thanks for everything😊

The rooms are clean and the garden in front of the rooms is very well maintained. The landlord is incredibly friendly, reliable and takes care of any concerns you may have. Across the street behind a temple is a beautiful, uncrowded sandy beach with direct access to a coral reef for snorkeling. You can rent a scooter directly on site and ask him for tips. We booked 3 nights and extended to 6 nights. All in all highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maja House! The room was immaculate, the AC worked well, hot water in the shower, good wifi and a comfy bed. The host Rony was so friendly, kind and helpful! He assisted us booking day tours and transport to Gilli T too! Would highly recommend Maja House!

Very clean bungalows and friendly personnel. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. They have a roofed parking area for scooters and they had a water refill available at the reception. The place is quiet at night.
