Beautiful, luxurious accommodation in the quieter part of the island. The villas are very well maintained and stylishly furnished. Very friendly staff, breakfast is also excellent. There are bicycles to use free of charge (not in very good condition, but very practical for exploring the island).

Great place to stay. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and funny, and you have full privacy in your own pool. Everything can be served in your villa without extra charge, and they always ring the bell before disturbing you. Food is delicious too. Free bikes to get around. Nothing here to not love. We will come back.You might want to tell the staff to turn off the water pump for the pool at night, because the vibrations gets amplified in your bed/pillow. It was not a problem for them to turn it on and off.We also recommend the romantic dinner service in your own villa. So serene.

We stayed 4 nights in Majo Villas. The villas are perfect, clean, with private swimming pool. The hotel is a quiet place on a noisy island. Service was fantastic, always eager to help us ! Food is delicious.Thanks a lot Villa Majo staff for the perfect stay !

We were incredibly disappointed with our experience at MAJO Private Villas, especially considering the overwhelmingly positive reviews that we had seen prior to booking as well as the images they used. Here's a bit more detail:Booking Issue: We booked a villa for three guests, which was confirmed during booking. However, upon arrival, the manager was visibly shocked to see three of us and made it clear that the villa was meant for two guests only. This led to an awkward and uncomfortable start to our stay. One of us had to sleep on the floor, which is simply unacceptable when paying over €130 per night for what is marketed as a luxury villa.Poor Condition of the Villa: The villa was in dire need of maintenance. Many things were broken, dirty, or stained, and it looked nothing like the pictures. There were nails sticking out around the pool, which is a serious safety concern. Additionally, since we were not given a proper villa for three, we were only provided with two bikes, leaving one of us without transportation. We later learned there was a neighbor renting bikes, but the manager made no effort to offer this simple solution.Lack of Basic Amenities: There was no hot water, and the internet was extremely unreliable, cutting out frequently. The early morning (~4am) prayer calls were very loud (as if the mosque was next door), lasting for quite a while. If you value your sleep, you might want to be aware of this.Surroundings: The general surroundings of the villa were not as nice as expected and added to the overall dissatisfaction.The One Bright Spot: The rest of the staff who served us breakfast were wonderful – kind, friendly, and very welcoming, in stark contrast to the manager.Overall, our stay was a letdown, and we couldn’t wait to leave. We cannot recommend MAJO Private Villas, especially given the price-value-ratio, embellishment, and the lack of care from management.Side note: We can assume that some of the villas are in far better conditions and that there has been an issue with overbooking on the days we stayed - however, that does in no way excuse the handling by the management. In years of traveling around Asia, this is the only time I have felt mistreated and deceived in a way that I recall it months after.

A truly unique place. Wonderful rooms, super friendly and always available staff. You immediately have 2 bikes included to get around the island, since it is the fastest means of transport. Excellent location, being right in the center of the island with little you can go anywhere

Le Majo is made up of several pretty little villas, each with its own private swimming pool and two bicycles. A la carte breakfast is included, you can either have it at the pool bar or (by booking the evening before) in your villa on your terrace or in your swimming pool (floating breakfast at no extra charge).The positives: lovely staff, a beautiful villa with a lovely bedroom and an outdoor shower. Free loan of two bicycles per villa. No extra charge for floating breakfast in your private pool. A nice totebag offered on your arrival with a map of the island and its recommendations. A very pleasant shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, great smell.The negative points/to be improved: establishment located in the center of the island which is less pretty and developed than the seaside (next to a construction site, vacant lots) so not a great environment. The cleanliness and maintenance of the villa and its outdoor space leaves something to be desired. Given the quality of the hotel, we expect everything to be perfect (stained outdoor cushions, stained and torn outdoor hanging fabric, it looks neglected, cobwebs in the toilets, marks on the floor, very few toiletries (no cotton or cotton buds), broken hair dryer (systematically folds in two) and not powerful at all). Not even a lamp per bike to go out at night.It's a shame because the establishment has real potential but it looks like it hasn't been maintained for some time. Superb You spa just a stone's throw away, same owner. And great cruise on the Utopia boat, same owner too.

My partner and I had amazing 4 nights at this amazing villa.The staff were welcoming, service was great and the villa itself was a little oasis, stunning!The pool, greenery and bedroom were beautifully done, with a lovely outdoor shower and double sinks.The bikes from the Villa were in great condition as well.The breakfast was okay, my partner sort of liked it but for me it was served cold and dry (bread and bacon) every time.Bear in mind that this Villa is not near (walking distance) to the restaurants and shops, but I loved riding the bike along the island (about 5-7 minutes ride to the centre).Also, the smoke at from the prayers kind of bothered us but it was not a major.Overall, it was an incredible experience.

Ideal accommodation to escape from the crowded area of the island, very nice facilities with a very beautiful green environment, the finishes are no longer new but everything works perfectly. They include bikes in the price, punctual breakfast and the staff is very attentive and helps you with any management. High price compared to accommodations in the rest of the country.

The villa was amazing looked amazing felt amazing. The staff and upkeep of the place amazing. I really really enjoyed this villa on Gili Trawangan!!I genuinely cannot recommend this place enough! The staff are super helpful big shout out to my brother jay! And also the the night staff man honestly would love to visit againThe price for this place is more than fair!Great hosts!!Had a minor issue with the power cuts at night time but I was very nicely compensated with a the ashtrays supplied in the villa!Also the robes were amazing too lol!Ps they gave us bikes to wonder the island!Again can only thank them for their hospitality!
