Happy to be able to stay here on holiday.The owner is very friendly, his brother is also nice.The view is truly pleasing to the eye.When you wake up in the morning, open your room and immediately see that the garden is clean and surrounded by plants, flowers and forests that are still beautiful but well maintained. Below it goes straight to the river.Sleeping with the sound of flowing river water.The fragrant atmosphere of trees is really felt.Suitable for those who want to feel calm and very pleasing to the eyes.Healing is one way to refresh the mind to leave what is on your mind for a moment.Suitable for families.Clean and quiet.Great 😍Happy to be able to stay hereThank you ☺

Little corner of paradise a little off the center of Bukit Lawang. We stayed here before and after our jungle trek. Out of the way so super quiet, simple but functional rooms. The setting is incredible and the family that runs this guesthouse is adorable. The restaurant and fresh juices from the garden are excellent. We didn't use their services but they also offer transportation, jungle treks and laundry.Special thanks to Supri and a little nod to Putra who played football and badminton with Cyril :)200% recommended

We cannot recommend this accommodation enough!!! Wisma Batu Mandi really is a small paradise with a beautiful, lovingly landscaped garden with many fruit trees, a great lounge area and 3 dogs as well as cats. The accommodation is located in the forest right by the river, so you can hear the amazing sounds of animals and the water at night. The village and small supermarkets are accessable within easy walking distance. The restaurant offers very delicious, both Indonesian and Western food and drinks. We were welcomed so warmly and friendly from the beginning, especially by Supri, Holanda and Putra.Supri organized a transport from Medan to Bukit Lawang and also drove us to the nearest ATM. Unfortunately we got very sick during our stay, but everyone took care of us touchingly, brought medicine and food and offered a transport to the nearest doctor.Thanks to Supri we were also able to flexibly postpone the jungle tour and extend our stay. It was definitely our favourite stay on our entire trip so far and we really felt like part of the family, thank you so much!!

Excellent stay in Batu Mandi, the welcome is warm and you feel at home! The food is good, the rooms are quiet, the garden with the river below is a little paradise where you can observe the Thomas monkeys every day around 5 p.m. All activities (trekking, bus etc...) are available directly via the Guesthouse so do not hesitate to book directly here. I 100% recommend for anyone who wants authenticity, far from the tourist hustle and bustle of Bukit Lawang, closer to nature :)

It's a little paradise, the garden is exceptionally beautiful, very well maintained, all kinds of magnificent plants, flowers and fruit trees. The river is just below the guesthouse, you have access to it through the garden. The rooms are quiet and clean, the bed is comfortable. The food and delicious. The family is adorable, they will be happy to arrange everything for you.If the establishment is full you have the possibility of camping near the river, they will provide you with your equipment. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Thank you Wisma Batu Mandi!100% recommended.

A great stay over the bridge and on the jungle side of the village. We saw all kinds of monkeys from the garden and restaurant. Note: this place is about a 10 minute walk through the jungle from the village main path so you’re definitely out of the way from things. Super quiet and views of the river where you can easily have a swim. Private porches overlooking a big garden. Rooms are very simple but clean. Bathroom is VERY basic - no spray hose, just bucket. Mosquito nets and fans did just fine. The restaurant serves delicious food made with love by the lady of the house, who is the warmth and heart of this place. Smiling, playful, gentle. Food is better-priced than most other spots in town. Full menu. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to get out of town and feel like you’re in the jungle but still have comforts and be reasonably close to other things. Super peaceful here!

The people who received us were very warm and we had a good quality of service.We did a trek with two very professional people (Holanda and Mardan). We mainly saw orangutans.The room was ok for the price (note that there is no air conditioning). I got sick during the trek and the organizers found solutions to make me feel better.I recommend this guest house! Good value for money.

A peaceful place where you eat very well, the service is top notch with the possibility of doing treks in the National Park as well as in the caves that are nearby!!!

A wonderful place!!! I recommend 200%, possibility of doing treks in the jungle, in caves, seeing the Arum titan, etc. If you don't know where to go... don't hesitate!!

Whatever the reason this establishment isn't labeled as a restaurant, it is a restaurant! Here the mother cooks with her two daughters. The food is very wholesome and it couldn't be fresher. After ordering, the boy with the flashlight was sent into the garden to get some of the herbs and vegetables. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get to know local food.
