The pool was dirty. Hotel was over all expectation vs reality . Not in main area it is between the jungle and not safe to walk at nights as, the street dogs are very aggressive . Whole night you can listen vehicle passing by the road . Washroom was out of order couldn’t even shower properly.Not worth the money, location and stay

A wonderful stay at golden hill cottage. Clean and tidy rooms and a great location. Not too far from the ferry terminal and 5 minutes away from amazing restaurants. Billi and made were so helpful and friendly during our stay, I would defiantly recommend to anyone visiting Nusa penida!

As soon as you enter the room it smells musty, maybe damp. The room floor was dirty but no room slippers were provided. Even though you look at the facilities, sandals are available. Dirty swimming pool

There are only two broken loungers and a bean bag. The complex is very small and it is loud in the evenings when people talk to each other at the pool.Service: organizing transport, getting new towels, emptying the garbage unfortunately didn't work

The hotel area is very small. There is no place for privacy and heart-to-heart conversations. If you sit by the pool in the evening, all the neighboring houses will hear you. There are only two sunbeds in fairly average condition. I didn’t swim in the pool, so I can’t say anything about the cleanliness.The bungalow inside is cozy, attention to decor, the interior is a little different from other places. A four-poster bed, a blue bedspread and the same declarative pillows, nice details such as a handmade “do not disturb” and “please leave” sign. That's where the positives endDisgustingly dirty bathroom! She was not washed at all, and I only found out about it in the morning, when it was light. In the shower, the floor was covered in other people's hair and garbage! I've never seen anything like this! There are a lot of cobwebs in all corners. There are cobwebs even on the sink tap, which means they don’t clean it at all! The water in the shower does not drain. Air conditioner drips on my head, above the bed. And behind the wall there was a construction site on a neighboring site. It was noisy at 8am, it would have been impossible to sleep without earplugsIf it weren't for the dirt, the place would be more or less normal and nice. You can stay overnight, but it’s unlikely for a few days

Initially we really loved the accommodation - cute wooden bungalows, a pool and lovely staff. However, little by little, things started to happen that were definitely not okay. We had a mouse in our accommodation that was even in our bed at night and walked over us. In general there were a lot of insects and geckos here, but that didn't bother us too much. However, there were definitely more animals than in other accommodations. One morning the water in our accommodation didn't work. The toilet flush wasn't fixed until the evening. We had to point this out to the staff several times. When asked about a price reduction due to the events, the staff only took action after repeated inquiries and contacted the owner. However, he was not willing to cooperate. Very unfortunate. We spent a total of 1 month in Bali and the surrounding area and slept in various hostels and homestays. This was definitely our worst experience.

Definetly recommended. Very nice place and accomodation for the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. One of them told us a perfect route for all the special places on nusa penida. Only the insects in the bathroom made me feel uncomfortable sometimes but I think you have to deal with that everywhere if you live in this kind of jungle.
