Thank you Flavio and Team for the great time Ihad with you. Everything was perfectly organised, from the airport pick-up, hotel transfer, tranfer to the ferry and boat to your amazing place. The accommodation is designed really beautifully and I had the best sleep since long in Indo (super comfy bed, quiet, and I have to praise the air conditioning again :-) I really love the vibes of the team plus the dogs of course. You have everything to make a day perfect. The boat trips, the equipment, SUP and Kayak for a cruise through the Mangroves or along the beach, the gym and the ice bath to beat the heat. And not to forget: amazing food all day long. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks…. endless creativity of tasty dishes. I enjoyed our conversations at the small beach bar and the Netflix Movie Session on a rainy day. You have chosen a great spot in Mentawais and built a beautiful home for travellers, surfers and non surfers alike. Thank you, and I will come back for sure.

Certainly the best surf trip ever.The whole crew at Favela Mentawai was amazing and did their absolute best to make sure we had the best experience possible.The house is beautiful and it felt like home, the room was clean, spacious, equipped with strong aircon and leading to the balcony.Nice bathroom too with hot water ( even if you don’t really need it :)The cheffe cooked the best food you want for a surf trip with some super snacks we took in the boats.Their knowledge of the surrounding area for surf and activities made our stay just unforgettable.They can accommodate everyone with different levels and non surfers too, I will come back for sure.Thanks so much Favela Mentawai for such an epic experience 🙏🏼

I booked and paid for everything on time, my father and my cousin died and that's why I couldn't go on the trip. I spoke politely to the owner of Favela, Fabio, who schooled me and stole the money. All that was left was to say, well done, your father and cousin died. I already understand why it's called a favela, the owner is an uneducated favela and a thief. A complaint has already been made to lapor.go.id.

Very sad to see the owners of the Mentawai favela being rude and taking our family's money. They just care about money, it doesn't matter if the guy is dead or alive!! forget this place that only wants to live and money and has no heart. Dirty and rotten humans.Sadness

Flav and the team run an epic camp!Awesome food and fun waves!A special mention to our surf guide-Filipe who completely made the trip, from first light to sundown down he was ready and waiting everyday.He was frothing to be able to share any experience with us.He was a true gentleman and had great understanding of the islands/reefs.Filipe was pure joy and worked extremely hard to ensure we capitalised on the shoulder season conditions.Filipe is the man!
