I booked a room for several days at the Vila Tala. The Vila is a beautiful, open, minimalist and cozy wooden house, the rooms are designed with a lot of love. From the terrace you have a direct view of the sea and in less than a minute you are on a beautiful sandy beach. From here you can book several activities, e.g. day trips for snorkeling or surfing.But you can also spend a very relaxing day in the Vila, there are several sun loungers, a pool and a large community space. Rina, the owner of the Vila, is incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. She speaks good English and helps with any questions or requests for help. The rest of the team is also super friendly, everything here feels very familiar and cozy.

It's really exciting and happy to stay at Tala, because the villa is clean, neat, the service is super friendly, the position is perfect in front of the beach and the rooms and rooms are really aesthetic... really cool!!! Exciting..Really recommended for accommodation if you go to the Mentawais again🤗🤗🤗

Villa Tali is a lovely rustic, modern, relaxing stay. Great breakfast and lovely staff. Rina made us so welcome. Interesting 15 minutes walk from Tua Panjet jetty.

I booked via Booking, unfortunately I can no longer leave a review there :(I booked Villa Tala as a stopover to relax during my Sumatra trip. I was there for a total of four nights and what can I say, it's still a well-hidden paradise!Rina and Fajri make the stay perfect! Thank you both very much :) The breakfast is always freshly prepared as requested and it tastes very delicious 😋 Rina also organizes everything else that is possible (transport, boat tour, scooter, etc.) to round off the stay.The villa is a wooden house with a balcony, terrace and pool. But the best thing is the distance from the sea. Out the door along the narrow village path and onto the beach. Beautiful, clear blue water!The only negative point in my opinion is that the water from the tap is a bit musty!Otherwise definitely recommended! Thanks for everything and I hope I can make it to the Mentawai Islands again sometime.

We just spent 5 perfect days in Villa Tala thanks to the amazing staff. Rita is just the perfect host - from arranging us a day boat trip for snorkelling on the smaller islands to providing infos on the island, everything was just great!Villa Tala is right on the beach, featuring a private pool with sun beds and comfy stylish rooms with aircon and wifi.There is also a great choice of freshly cooked breakfast in the morning, from western options to local classics.Totally recommended if you come to Tuapejat!

We recently stayed at Villa Tala and had a very pleasant stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and well-maintained. The place is very spacious and cozy through the beautiful wooden materials.And what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly helpful and discrete. Their friendliness and attentiveness made all the difference. On the less positive side is the smelly water pipes in our room (probably unavoidable due to the water system on the island) and the sound-permeable walls (wood doesn’t isolate), but overall it was a very good experience and we highly recommend it!

Stunning villa with really lovely and helpful staff. The location is perfect, you can access the islands opposite very easily. The swimming pool is very pleasant and I don't think you can find better on this island because there is little choice. Some finishing touches are in progress because the villa is new but I really recommend it!
