We spent 3 nights at Japa Bungalow! We were very well received by Wayan and his wife. Wayan has already come to pick us up from the boat, very practical! Then he took us in the afternoon to visit the natural swimming pools with our children, it was great! He booked Snorkeling for us, took us, suggested we see the sunset at Cristal Bay and organized a day with a driver to visit the spots! It was our daughter's birthday, we had a cake delivered, they received it and refrigerated it. The swimming pool is extraordinary, there are several very good little restaurants within a few minutes' walk. It's a relaxing place! We're going back there! Thank you so much ! We exchanged music... It was great! 👌🏻🙏🏻

Very good hotel, surrounded by vegetation with a beautiful swimming pool.Single room, (the mattress sinks to one side of the bed).2 towels at our disposal (pool/shower)Good breakfast as well as accommodating service.

Great quiet location.Breakfast at the top... pineapple pancake a treat.Our hosts were very welcoming.He even took us by car for our first day and guided us to the west part of the island. The next day, unable to accompany us, he took the time to find us a driver to visit the east of the island. Really nice welcome.The swimming pool at the end of the day is particularly pleasant on this hot island.

Wayan pashul was helpful he got us superb deals for snorkling private car booking arranging sightseeing itinerary etc.Rooms are cozy pool is clean and cute breakfast was provided but it was basic.The only thing is it is far away from main road and path is rough.But we were family of 3 and we went to eat dinner walking to near by restaurant.Rest all is fine even Wi-Fi was proper.

Japa Bungalow felt like home. Sweet, well-designed bungalows away from the hustle and bustle and very friendly, accommodating owners. For breakfast we had a selection of egg dishes or pancakes and were woken up every day with a warm “good morning”. We'll be back :)

The bedsheets were stinky, smelled like humid dirty bedsheets. The breakfast was ok. The owner tried to tell us to leave before the check out time (12pm) because the cleaning lady was going to clean earlier, which was very inconsiderate, given we had planned our morning trip already. The pool was clean. There are a couple of restaurants and a convenience store at a walking distance.

Location is good. Host are really nice and helpful. Rooms are old with a really strong smell of humidity. Swimming pool not clean but still ok. Quiet place.

At Japa Bungalow we enjoyed 2 days of real Nusa Penida life. Wayan the host was amazing in organising daily trips for us and picking us to / from the port, even if he was busy with Hindu ceremonies the days we were there.Plus, the Bungalow has a stunning pool where to relax after the daily excursions.

We ended up staying longer than planned, because this was the best place on our Bali trip. The location is perfect for daytrips, the family is lovely and caring and the garden with pool is amazing. Highly recommended!
