Villa Situ Citiwu, Ciwidey

This villa is good enough for a family holiday but the price is economical. Pluses and minuses:+ Economical price, long weekend rental for 2 nights gets a price of ±1.8 million per night.+ The morning view is really cool. From the lake towards the sun rise is really nice.+ It got cold, the altitude was 1200 meters above sea level, the lowest temperature we got was 13⁰C at dawn.+ Capacity can accommodate up to 30 people. But some of them slept in rooms, in tents, and some were lying on the carpet. The thick carpet is quite comfortable for sleeping. There are pillows, just bring a blanket.+ There is a kitchen, quite complete cooking utensils, there is a stove, also plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, one rice cooker. Only the stove needs to be serviced, the fire is not strong enough, so it takes a long time to burn out.+ Gallon water + dispenser available. After that, just ask Mang Aan.+ Mang Aan, the caretaker of this villa, is friendly and very helpful.+ Ample parking, looks like 10 cars can fit.+ There is a fairly large lake, you can play canoes and water bikes.+ There are 2 swimming pools next to the lake. The depth for adults is around 1.2 meters, the children's pool is around 80 cm.+ Grill/grill/barbeque place provided, just buy/bring charcoal.+ The bathroom is quite good, the water is quite smooth, the hot water is smooth but if a lot of people use it, sometimes it runs out.-----Minuses that can be fixed:- no WiFi. At least until we stayed here (14-16/9/2024) there wasn't any.- when we visited the karaoke device was broken, only a small bluetooth speaker was replaced. Even then the battery has a problem. The TV was also damaged but was repaired so I could only play PS, I couldn't get TV broadcasts.- It could be said that there are no rooms in this villa. There are 5 tents, 2 rooms that don't have doors (only closed with curtains), and lying on the carpet.- The electricity sometimes snaps, either it's not strong enough or the MCB has been knocked over. The switch position is too low, easy for children to reach.- some parts of the door/roof are very low so people often hit their heads.- like in an organic farming area, there are lots of flies here. Luckily we brought fly glue, it was quite effective in reducing it.Overall, for a holiday with a limited budget, this villa is still okay.Hope it is useful.
