We spent one night at this homestay and were delighted. Everything is very clean, the vegetarian dinner they offer is great, the views are beautiful, and we loved the walk through the rice fields with Jeff. The best place in Ruteng!

The place is a little far from the city, if you don't have a motorcycle, talk to the hostel who I think can come pick you up in the city, otherwise you can use the maxim application to go by motorcycle.The hostel is good, they give you a towel, and there is hot water and they offer you dinner and breakfastThey do early morning excursions through the rice fields and other activities at a good price

An excellent night in a very clean dormitory. Jeff makes all the customers eat together in Indonesian style, which brings people together and allows for exchanges.He also offers a walk in the rice fields at sunrise and takes beautiful photos.He also gives good advice.I recommend especially if you want to meet travel partners

Jeff and his family do an amazing job with this guesthouse. After traveling in the eastern part of Indonesia it was nice to sit down with other backpackers and enjoy dinner and breakfast together. Nice and comfortable rooms, hot showers and amazing terrace. Really recommend the sunrise walk… you won’t regret waking up early!

Jeff welcomes you with joy to his wonderful house, with a view of the rice fields. I had a wonderful stay! You eat extremely well there, Jeff takes you on a tour of the rice fields at sunrise, what a landscape 🤩 A stay at Sun Rice is a timeless break, which I advise everyone to try. I will come back, very soon I hope.

Everything was perfect: Jeff is adorable and the environment incredible!The rooms are simple and clean.The evening meal together is very good and we have a good time sharing and enriching things. The morning walk in the rice fields is a must not to be missed.I think it's worth staying a little longer so I can share other activities with Jeff and his family.

Amazing 🤩🤩It’s quite simply the best homestay of our trip to Flores. A very friendly atmosphere, especially during the evening meal where we ate with the other travelers in a circle, on the floor and all wearing a sarong. We also took a walk offered by the homestay where we zigzagged through the rice fields for sunrise with our host Jeff who is super friendly. The landscapes were magnificent: I highly recommend.

Jeff (the owner) and his family are very kind and take care about their guests. the room was clean, great view (rice fields) from the balcony, veeery good and organic dinner and breakfast! it’s a bit out of the city centre, perfect for nature lovers and it’s quiet. l’m a solo traveler and met very easy new people there. l did the morning sunrise hike and it was an amazing experience. l wish l could have stayed longer. l highly recommend this place!!

Jeff is an exceptional host. He is very kind, speaks English very well and is an official guide for the island of Flores. The accommodation is very clean, you feel at home. Dinner with all the other guests is very convivial. Don't miss the sunrise trek in the rice fields. That's wonderful. Jeff also accompanied us to Labuan Bajo, which was very nice of him. We recommend with your eyes closed. Our best homestay in Flores
