Villa Ellya, Private Villa for 8 -11 Pax

Our family of 6 had a fabulous 4D3N at Villa Ellya Lombok, a beautiful traditional villa perfect for a couple romantic getaway or bonding time with a group of friends or big family like us. It is located a short 15 min drive from Kuta and situated at the top of Are Guling hill, offering a mesmerising view of the ocean. After a long day trip out surfing, diving or hiking, we looked forward to spend a relaxing quiet evening at this charming villa. We enjoyed looking at the stars while having a dip in the pool. Or just lounging at the sprawling sofa taking in the sound and sight of the ocean. It is lovely to fall asleep to the sound of lapping waves and nature sounds and wake up to a great seaview.We started each day with a freshly prepared breakfast of fruit platter, fresh mixed juice and wide breakfast choice including smoothie bowl, pancake or European breakfast or local dishes such as nasi goreng or mee goreng prepared by our wonderful chef Aning. On our last evening, our amazing manager Raph arranged for us a sumptuous bbq cooked by Aning. We had a generous spread of juicy tender buffalo meat, chicken and fish. On the side, we had ratatouille, hummus with carrot and cucumber sticks and fried tempeh and we ended the meal with vegan chocolate mousse dessert. All homemade!Our dedicated driver Zul welcomed and picked us from the airport. Over the next few days, he drove us safely to Tanjong Aan, Selong Belanak and Benang Stokel waterfall. His great recommendations of local warung (restaurants) at each destinations was such a treat for food lovers like us. This is another highlight of our trip.Raph is an amazing host seeing to all our needs to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He coordinated with his staffs to make sure that we have clean rooms and ensure that our daily breakfast is served timely. When I told him that one of us has to work remotely, he made sure that we had strong wifi connection throughout our stay. Raph got in touch and communicated with us days before our arrival at Lombok.Although this is our first time to Lombok, our family had an enjoyable and memorable time, thanks to the teamwork and hospitality of the friendly and well-trained staffs.

We stayed at Villa Ellya with our family group of 9 adults, in May which was a great time (not in rainy season but not too hot either)We absolutely loved our stay there :- The team at the villa is amazing, all very kind and showing genuine smiles every day, we chatted quite a bit over our stay and had great time together, we could see the team is working well together and does everything to make our stay unforgettable and relaxing - special thanks to Yoyo for coordinating everything, to Anto for the high level chef cooking, and to the whole team for being so friendly and welcoming!- Location is quite isolated (which we loved), very quiet yet close to Kuta and we could explore most of the island from there with a little bit of driving time to some areas. Local culture is all around, Areguling village is very nice (all locals are very friendly), monkeys are hanging out around the area and right around the villa around sunrise/sunset times.- Views are unmatched - such a pleasure to wake up in the morning, have a swim or a yoga session in this environment, we miss it already!- Cooking for each breakfast and each dinner at the villa was incredible - we had all kinds of Indonesian specialties cooked with love by Anto who had extensive experience as a chef in luxury locations, yet keeps cooking genuine Indonesian food- Comfort in each sleeping area was very good, with A/C in all bedrooms, private bathroom for each, mixing with taste local architecture and contact with nature.- Local tips and contacts were also a huge plus : guide and driver recommended by the villa were excellent and we will keep in touch as we got along well and had a great time with Adi and uncle Aji :) Anything you might want to organize (massage, surf rental or lessons, excursions, taxi, etc.), the team can give you tips and contacts for it.Thanks again to the whole team at Villa Ellya, we won't hesitate to recommend it (and Lombok) to anyone who might come to Indonesia.

Absolutely outstanding villa with breathtaking views and all the amenities you could require. The villa staff were polite, helpful and kept the villa clean and maintained to a very high standard. The driver, also organised by the villa, was super reliable, flexible and punctual.All the rooms are fitted out tastefully and the layout of the villa provides the space to gather as a group but also allowed guests some space and privacy when needed.Pool was wonderful to lounge by and relax in after a day at the beach.Loved the location, close enough to get into Kuta and surrounding beaches easily but secluded and peaceful and a tranquil paradise to return to after a day out.Would highly recommend.

Perfect place to stay if you don’t want to be in Kuta. All but one room has aircon which is great. Plenty of room to get away from each other if needed and great covered area to hang out. Daniel the house manager was excellent and super helpful along with all the other staff.The pool is perfect after a hot day.The road to the villa isn’t good though- you need a scooter (must be a decent rider) to car to get about.Highly recommend this villa!!

As every other guest that went there we were astonished by the view, the crew and the manager.This is truly a small paradise sitting on top of the hill with a marvelous view of the coast, you can't go wrong by staying here, you won't regret it.We've been to our fair share of hotels in Bali and lombok and this is the best we've seen so far...The road is a bit of an adventure to get there but mark my words, once you're here you will not want to leave as everything and everyone are doing their best to make your stay exquisite and peaceful.A special mention to Raphael the french manager that is so kind and thoughtful and has a lot of tips to make you stay here pleasant and unforgettable.Truly the best cosy and peaceful place we've been in lombok, we can't advise you enough to make a stop here, you will be amazed by the romantic view and the excellent service.
