The guest room run by André lives up to its name! A little paradise hidden in the middle of the jungle, in a sumptuous property and a wonderful garden with swimming pool. The bedroom is separate from the main house and independent. It's quite small but the decoration is charming, very neat and everything has been thought of down to the smallest detail. The bathroom is very nice.André is a charming, welcoming and very friendly host! He offers dinners upon request and is an excellent cook! The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. André's 2 dogs are really adorable and won't bother you.The place is calm and relaxing, an excellent base for visiting the surrounding area. Don't miss Virgin Beach which is nearby!

the place is beautiful and relaxing. while the room is not large, it is immediately comfortable and so good to come home to. the lounging space behind the quarters, the table and seating area in front, the yoga platform nearby and especially the very nice pool all provide plenty of room and abundant spaces to lounge, enjoy a cocktail, rest and to enjoy the nature and style that surrounds you. Andre is wonderful company during the provided (and fantastic) breakfasts (best cortado in SE Asia!) and for dinners should you choose to dine here (not included but oh so highly recommended!) meals are served in his main home which is nothing short of spectacular and an excellent value.

I recommend this haven of peace 200%. André shares his corner of paradise with us with an open heart. Surrounded by rice fields and the beach, the space made available to us is equipped with a beautiful bedroom equipped with air conditioning, mosquito net with fan and lighting, mini bar and wardrobe. 2 terraces allow us to observe the squirrels and birds comfortably seated in the garden furniture. The open-air bathroom is spacious with bath and pool towels. What infinite happiness to have been able to sleep with open doors and windows, lulled by the gentle sound of the waves. The calm is absolute.The fresh water pool is fantastic.André takes great care and took care of booking divine massages received on the terrace, my transfer and preparing delicious meals. I extended my stay and left fully refreshed. Thank you very much 🙏.

A small, hidden paradise on earth. The host Andre looked after us well and gave us a warm welcome. We felt very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay with him and his two dogs. Nestled in a serene and breathtakingly beautiful location, this secluded paradise is the perfect escape from the crowds and chaos of everyday life.André, our host, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. His warmth and hospitality were genuine, and we felt as though we were staying with an old friend rather than a host we had just met. André's passion for cooking is evident in every meal he prepared for us, and we were blown away by the care and attention to detail he put into each dish.But perhaps the most memorable aspect of our stay was the stunning natural beauty that surrounded us. The quiet and secluded beach was just steps away, and we enjoyed leisurely walks with our dogs while taking in the breathtaking scenery. The sound of the waves crashing on the shore and the cool ocean breeze were a welcome respite from the stresses of everyday life.All in all, our stay at Hidden Heaven Rumah Barong was truly unforgettable. My partner and I stayed for a night at this amazing place. A fabulous separate cottage , sitting in the corner of an elegant botanical quality garden setting complete with a salt water pool. The sounds of waves breaking onto the beach and the ever present bird life fill the air. Our host , Andre , a well travelled man, full of interesting stories and a master cook completed this perfect getaway. Highly recommended.

Hidden Heaven is a dreamy place for a time out in paradise. I was warmly welcomed by André, the owner, and given a tour of the magical property. The entire stay feels like a visit to a friend. If you are lucky, André is also available as a private chef. The private bungalow has everything you need and is beautifully maintained. The ideal day starts with a stunning sunrise on the nearby beach, followed by an included breakfast at Andre's and continues with a visit to magical Virgin Beach (about 12 minutes by scooter). I am delighted and I will definitely come back!

We just spent a lovely weekend at Villa Rumah Barong and loved everything about it. The villa itself is tastefully decorated, set in the middle of a lush garden, with a large saltwater swimming pool. The view fron the breakfast area is amazing, too! Location-wise, we loved its proximity to the ocean and other well-known attractions such as the Lempuyang Temple and Virgin Beach. Most importantly, we enjoyed Andre's company and cooking and will definitely be back for it!

This place is fascinating, highly recommended for nature lovers. You can hear the sea and the sounds of birds, crickets, toads. There are two beautiful little dogs, Goofy and Karna.The host, André, is incredible, super attentive, and with exquisite taste.One of the things I enjoyed the most in this place is that its bathroom is semi-open, so while I was bathing I could see the trees... It also has an area to do yoga under an incredible tree, it is a space with a lot of energy and very relaxing.The pool is also a very beautiful and comfortable area on sunny or hot days.The main house has an incredible style.I highly recommend coming to those who want to focus on a project or personal healing. It is a very quiet space, Ni luh and Komang always make us feel at home.

Most magical few days at Rumah Barong. Andre is such a lovely man and truly attentive host. The garden, the nature, the beauty, the joglo guest cottage, the crash of the ocean waves close by, the stunning rice paddi walks. And the serene energy that rejuvenates and refreshes.Breakfast was a highlight. More beauty and delight. Barista coffee.Slowly I understood Andre loves to cook. And so I enjoyed wondrous meals at his gracious table, overlooking the beauty of the garden and pool.The sacred volcano Gunung Agung blesses Rumah Barong and all who stay.Andre can arrange meals he personally cooks with love and skill. Or can arrange delivery from local resort. He has a driver if you wish to explore.There is Sorga chocolate factory very close. And just a 20 minute drive to the famed Bali Asli restaurant with its stunning views of Gunung AgungFor a single, you will not feel alone. Or for a couple, you will love Rumah Barong. Today I reluctantly return to my home in Ubud. But I will return
