We had a nice 3 night stay here. The staff is super nice and helpful. The room looks exactly the same as in the photos and from our experience, definitely recommended!

Very kind hosts and the rooms are very clean. You can rent a scooter to discover the island. Close to the cottage are restaurants on walking distance. 2 min with the scooter you have a pool club called the Cactus and a bit further a club called The Chill. The sunrise is also very beautiful. I would come back!

The hosts are super nice and friendly and welcoming ppl … the location is lil bit away from the main tourist attractions but if u have a rented vehicle then it’s not a big issue since the island is pretty small and can be accessed easily… the rooms are nice and cozy .. bathroom can be better .. the breakfast that is included is amazing.. and all the rooms have a nice view of the sea … can just sit out and enjoy the view … u can hear the waves at night too … also can catch the morning sunrise without anyone to bother you… if looking for a nice quiet place .. then this is great .. as for lunch and dinner etc u can always head out to some restaurants nearby .. rented vehicle is a must if staying here

Wowok and Ari are wonderful hosts and took good care of us. They helped us immensely with planning local activities. The room overlooks beach and watching calm sea waves during full moon days was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. I loved chatting with Ari and knowing about life in Nusa Penida. I also got to cook 2 meals and Ari was very kind to bring me vegetables. Local vegetable market is open only in the morning till 8am or 9am. If you plan to cook something, you can ask the hosts and they can help you understand where to buy ingredients. Highly recommend this place. Suggest to bring any major spices you might need to cook or any specific snacks from Bali as the density of shops are less the more you go away from Sampalan. Haven't come across mini marts and k-marts , small supermarkets and shops are present
