I would have to agree with the previous review from the travelers, this hotel probably has the hardest beds in Thailand. Along with the tissue paper curtains and the regular disturbing sound of the water pump made for a very poor night’s sleep.The place is otherwise quiet and secure and the staff are very friendly and helpful plus booking through Agoda is ridiculously cheap.Anyone looking for a challenge give it a try.

We've got a winner: for "the hardest bed in Thailand" competition.1 star rating for sleep comfort3 star rating for the rest of the roomWe've been staying in many Thai hotels over the past 2 years and SJ has beaten them all in the hard mattress category. It's so hard that you can stand on the bed without the mattress showing the slightest indentation. To make things worse, there's a thick vinyl topper that makes it even harder and also very hot to sleep on. And why is the bed so small when the rest of the room is big?The rest of the room is very sparsely equipped, no bedside tables, but instead a big dining table - without any chairs?!?. There's also a small dresser cabinet in the corner that would probably serve as a makeup desk for ladies? We got a strong impression that the main purpose of this hotel is to cater to horizontal night activities, rather than being a regular hotel.On the positive note, there is a cold AC, big fridge, and a water kettle, but the TV is really small.I have to admit that the room rate is very cheap (<400B) and for that I added an additional star to the overall rating, bumping it up from 2 to 3 stars. Still, this was the most uncomfortable bed we've encountered so far - having so fare stayed in over 70 out of 77 provinces.

Everything you need is available in the room: fridge, kettle, hot water, window, balcony, large bed. A hairdryer would be great. The price is perfect. The people there are friendly. 🥰

I contacted them through Agoda a few days ago with the intention of staying there, but I didn't receive a reply. Eventually, it became fully booked and I was unable to use it.

Very good price, economical, spacious rooms, convenient and safe, but it's a pity there should be coffee service in the rooms as well.
