This hotel is really really bad, and I just found a hotel as bad as this... the place is really scary, the lobby lights only came on when we arrived... Coincidentally we arrived at the location at 9pm. The place is dirty, it's scary again. We got a room at the very back of the rooms "it was empty and we were the only ones there. The aura was really mystical, which was perfect for testing your courage." When the door to the room was opened, the smell of the room was really musty, and damp. Plus, both sides of the room were pitch black.Initially we asked for a refund because the child was "scared, it's okay to return half." Because we couldn't look for other options, we asked to change rooms.Got another room but the bathroom is separate outside the room. It's just more horror, isn't it? The bathroom inside is scary especially outsideFinally we decided to move hotels. It's better if we lose money than having to sleep in such a scary hotel, the intention is to go on holiday, not to test your courage... the place is spacious, there are lots of rooms but all the rooms are empty, it's like an abandoned hotel, basically

I am really sorry to write this review considering the very poor situation of these people and their kindness, but I have to be fair.Our Bromo tour agency booked for us this hotel without giving us the name and we trust them.The strategic position for the Bromo trekking is the only one positive point. Concerning the hotel a total disaster.Reception service with two very young guys who did not even know one english word.Room very dirty with bed sheet full of liquid drops and bad smell. We asked to change it and the new ones were in the same conditions, so we gave up. Not possible to describe how bad was the bathroom. Shower working only with cold water and toilet extremely dirty without the toilet paper. Sink without running water. We asked the reason why and the answer was that the tank was empty, but no clear explanations.Final recap: do not book this hotel!

First of all, I know this place from people who has been stay here, but I didn't ask for the service ect.So, I decide to stay here coz I'm already tired driving from Bali. And they give me a deluxe room at the bottom. I was thinking, oh ok must be this room nice and have a good view. Hmm not!!! First I'm walk in to the room, the bed cover was so dirty! The sheet also smell not nice! The room is totally awful!Next, I want to shower, but yes, the hot water didn't work at all, smell gass all around the bathroom. And the bathroom are very very bad condition!And, not finish yet, I try to sleep during the day, just want to take a nap. But I can't!!! There is a small animal that I can't see and find, but they bite all my body, so I can't even close my eyes, coz I'm trying to find that animal. Hufffh....I pay 400.000/night, to get all of this service??? Wow. I rather sleep in my car. But before that, the price that they give to me is 800.000/night, amazing right???Also, when we trying to get some information about jeep, restaurant, the reception just give an unbelievable answer, coz he cannot even answer my question!This place are a trap for everyone who already get tired from driving. Never come to this hotel or you will feel disappointed.So in the afternoon, we decide to get some food, and we found a nice hotel, which is cleaner and nicer than this hotel, so we decide to move there.When we arrive at sion hotel to check out, my husband tell the reception if we want to move out, because I'm not feel comfortable with that room. And surprisingly the staff offers to move to another room on top!!!! Why??? Why??? Why he is not give me that room at the beginning???? Why he must send me at the bottom first????? This is really dissapointing!And when I want to grab all my bag in the room, I was feeling scared, as the way to my room are giving me creepy feeling, and because no one stay in that area, no one except us!!!! I was running very fast coz I feel so scared!!!!This is my first experience, I stay in the hotel but I don't want to come back, or even to sleep there, eventhough I feel so tired, I choose to stay in the car until my husband agree to move, as we already pay that much!If you come to visit Bromo, better you find another places. There are plenty of hotel, homestay, guesthouse or villa which is nicer than this hotel and cheaper than this hotel as well!!!!Never never never booked this hotel!!!!! Don't ever try to booked this hotel!!!!This hotel must shut down to do some renovation, maintenance and also educate their staff more for hospitality, if they want to work in this industry, they must start fixing their management as well.
