Very bad experience, if you want to stay there I advise you to read the reviews and form your own opinion. To begin with, you should know that despite what is indicated on the online sites, there is no WiFi, no hot water, no catering service or transport service.A breakfast is included, after 1 day the person told us they were short of many ingredients in the kitchen so it's eggs on toast and instant coffee exclusively. The woman who works there is very nice but the rest of the staff are horrible. They use the place as they wish, inviting friends or family to spend the night there. The swimming pool is available to everyone but that was not a problem. On the other hand, they organized an event on Saturday (from the morning with the installation of tables, all afternoon with the sound system and giant speakers to test the sound, until around 3 a.m. when it was real techno parade with loud music and people running all over the hotel, singing in the swimming pool...), a horror! The worst thing was the state of the hotel... the place itself is magnificent, an incredible view and a bright room, the only positive point. The hotel is totally dilapidated, mold on the walls, the pillows are completely moldy, which surprised me after several days. Lots of holes in the walls, dirty place, door handle no longer works. There is no service... we paid for the week and no cleaning or change of towels. No toilet paper or bathroom products.A mouse also lives there, I had the unpleasant surprise of seeing my belongings nibbled during the night. The hotel is isolated and far from the center but if you have a motorbike it's not a problem. The place was probably good in its early days, it has nothing to do with the photos now, they should close or think about changing staff and investing in renovation!

Had a bad experience with this one. the staff is not ready, the rooms is not ready. The facilities are not as equipped as offered: no water, no wifi (they told us broken at the moment, while the hotel is in the remote area so no signal :/ at all), no coffee/tea maker, no toiletries, toilet paper, we even had to ask for our own towels. we arrived pretty late like 9 ish, and there was really nothing to eat, so be prepared.there is no silent because apparently, there are some groups that are allowed to camp and can bring large speakers to play very loud music in the morning at 6 am. also, the pool is for public so anyone not staying at the place can use the pool after purchasing an admission ticket.as i said the staff isn't ready, they don't know that we ordered breakfast, so the breakfast isn't ready in the morning. we have to asked a couple times, before they actually bring the breakfast.for someone who drive almost 3 hours, hungry and just want to rest and enjoy the view and ambience, this is not recommended

The photos looked very beautiful and I had high expectations, but they were all lies. A place like a ruin. I can't call it a hotel. Don't be fooled! This was the worst accommodation I've ever stayed in!

DON'T STAY THERE! Worst place I have ever been after travelling 3 months around Indonesia.Rooms were super DIRTY, the toilet was BROKEN.There is no data around and when I arrived I ask them for the Wi-fi, they told me it DOESN'T WORK but that they will solve it soon. They didn't even try to solve it. And after one day ELECTRICITY WENT DOWN. Like before, they told me they will solve it.In the afternoon, they haven't solved it and I told them I was leaving. They told me to come tomorrow and they will give me the money back.It is located 12 mins AWAY FROM LAKEY PEAK, next they I went and they told me I have to do it through booking. Booking doesn't allow me and the guy working in the hotel tolt me his boss said that they did their best and that they will not give me the money back.DON'T GO, BETTER TO SLEEP IN THE JUNGLE THAN THERE. IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM.

I would not recommend staying here. Upon arrival, the room we booked was occupied and we were put in a room under renovation. There was no remote to control the A/C, the restaurant is closed, and the property is run down and does not look like the photos as advertised. The manager allowed a man on the property (Dion) who wanted to rent us an old manual shift bike for our stay. We returned the bike after one day due to its poor condition, and payed him the 70k idr per day he requested. Dion later followed us down a dirt road, got off his bike, blocked us and wouldn’t let us pass. He threatened my girlfriend and I and demanded we pay him 300k IDR for not taking his bike for our entire stay. Do not rent a bike or do any business with him. We checked out of The Tree House immediately.
