The room is very basic and had a hole in the ceiling, so there were bugs in all the time. One morning a bird came in as well. The bathroom has no sink, no mirror and the window is again a hole on the wall. Internet connection is faulty. The kitchen is the stuff of nightmares with cockroaches running around everywhere and flies going on everything.Don't trust the family running this place. They seemed nice and genuinely helpful so we trusted them, but that's a mistake. Whatever they offer to buy for you, refuse, they will get you something else or nothing at all and you will have trouble getting your money back.They lied, tricked and stole from us. We cannot in good conscience recommend staying here. There are much better places on the island where you won't get taken advantage of.1. After we took two lessons and decided we would just surf on our own, no surfboards were available anymore.2. After we settled our first food bill which came with 1 meal we didn't have, but we let it slide, not giving a tip, the food started getting worse and worse.3. We were told there was no way to book online tickets for the ferry boat to sibolga. This was a lie. The goal was for them to buy our tickets, charging us for a private cabin but booking us a bunk bed in a dorm cabin with 50 people. They charged us 500k and our actual tickets cost 240k.4. They told us the boat was at 10pm and it was at 9pm. We almost missed it. We believe the goal was for us to have to go back and stay more nights until the next boat.5. One of the sons offered to buy us some local special fruit, we accepted. For the whole time we were there he kept saying it would come the next day and making up excuses. At some point we said we didn't want it anymore and that he could just give us our money back. We didn't see him again until our departure day.

An incredible place, close to the wave, clean room and huge terrace! The family and daughters are phenomenal, very kind and always helping us with everything. They are wonderful people.

A simple and pleasant place. Against Nias' perfect pick. The locals are very nice and will do anything to have a good time. Delicious food. Nice place and nice people. Waves are just minutes walking and suitable for beginner and middle level depending of the swell. We had an amazing experience.

It is a nace place. The weas is walking distance from the guesthouse. The owner, Ahan is a friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. I am sure that I would repeat the experience.

Ahan and his Family are amazing people who have this Guesthouse. It is just in front of the sea, with a view to the famous Point wave. We had a wonderful, tranquil, relaxed stay there. The breakfast is delicious and you can ask for fresh fish bbq as well.
