HIMA Bungalows is by far the best accommodation in the area. The family running this place is super friendly. The bungalows are clean, very modern and equipped with a strong AC. The pool is also very nice! There is a path along the reef towards the surfspots so you don’t need to walk along the road. Overall my experience at HIMA was a 10/10. Thank you very much!

we loved our stay at hima. aesthetic bungalow and lighting, beautiful semi-outdoor shower. close to sorake, you can even check the waves from the outside area. AND you will be taken care for by the nicest family! really good breakfast and bbq fish. terima kasih dan sampai jumpa lagi wau-family ❤️

This place is amazing, the rooms are great. The bed is comfy and the bathroom is amazing having the outside sky to look at when you shower. The aircon works amazing and the pool is very nice to swim in .

Our stay in one of the bungalows with the Wau family was simply fantastic! From the start we felt very welcome. The hosts are incredibly friendly, accommodating and helpful. If you wish, they not only provide you with very good food that you can enjoy at any time with a view of the sea. They are happy to help with excursion tips, surfboard or scooter rentals. You can also learn a lot about the country and its people while playing a game of backgammon with dad.The bungalow left nothing to be desired. It is attractively furnished and very well equipped. A highlight is the outdoor shower. Everything was well maintained and clean.The location of the bungalow is ideal for a surfing trip, spot check from the terrace and off you go!Only the transfer to the accommodation could be made easier if one's own car were provided, so that the Wau family could pick up the guests from the port or airport more easily, more flexibly and, above all, more safely. The communication with you is very good, which cannot be the case with all drivers, so that it is not so easy for misunderstandings to arise and, despite the best arrangements from the Wau family, you end up at the port without a driver.Overall, we can fully recommend this bungalow. It was an unforgettable vacation. We'd love to come back!

The accommodation: modern and high-quality bungalows with a direct view of the sea. Everything is very clean and new. The beautiful bathroom has an open air shower with warm water. The pool area is well maintained and invites you to relax and cool off. Food: The family provides you with a variety of local and western dishes. There is also a large selection for vegetarians. Wishes can be expressed at any time and will be fulfilled with pleasure. Location: about 3 hours (600,000 Rp) from the airport, you are in a cozy place from where you can reach the nearby beaches with your family's scooter. There are suitable waves in the immediate area for surfers from beginners to professionals. ATM and grocery stores are about 20 minutes scooter ride away. Hosts: The Wau family is always available to give advice and assistance. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks for the nice time

The HIMA bungalows are such a beautiful place to stay. Its clean, nice furniture, comfortable beds, hot shower, everything smells good and the rooms are very modern and stylish. Also the cute little garden with the pool is a plus! You can see the waves and the surfers from there and always check if you wanna hop out and go catch a wave too. Probably the nicest thing about the place is the lovely family who takes care of the bungalows. Every family member is so friendly and interested, it really made us feel home away from home.Whenever you are hungry or need something, you can ask them and they are happy to help. Also the food is very good. Or if you are into games, go and play Backgammon with Wau! ;)We would always come back! Thank you!!

We spent a week in Hima with the Wau family. The hotel is magnificent (it is rare to find such a standard in Nias), very clean, and you feel very welcome by the family who take great care of you. The atmosphere remains intimate with only two bengalows.The wifi works well.
