The rooms are great. The location is also good. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired.I got a Bali Belly here at the hotel on the second day. Therefore an extreme lack of water. I called service at around 6 a.m. and asked for water because I was sick and urgently needed some. The answer I received was that I should wait until 7am.At 7:15 I called again because nothing had arrived. At 7:25 again. When my wife went to get me some at 7:45, it suddenly worked. However, significantly less than needed. This behavior was repeated several times. In addition, someone is out here with a chainsaw every day, which reduces relaxation to a minimum.

Stayed here for 2 nights to get a taste of Ubud. I was initially drawn to the outdoor spa and pool options which were refreshing but didnā€™t feel the cleanest, or recently refreshed. The location was spot on and we were able to easily walk into town. The room was spacious and opened on to a great view of the dense jungle going down into the valley. Unfortunately a few issues about the room took away from this. The sheets were stained with old stains, there was black mold around the aircon and lots of pink mould in the bathroom. The shower was at an awkward height and the bathtub had stains on the bottom. The towels could do with a refresh. The complementary lunches were a nice touch and the food was ok, not great considering weā€™ve had some incredible food here in Bali. The staff were all very helpful and we felt well cared for. Likely will look for alternative accommodation next time in Ubud!

Rooms are somewhat dated, cupboard doors are hanging loose. Dirty shower curtain. There are many stairs to get to your house.

A lovely hotel! Iā€™ve come to stay here about 6 times during the past 15 years and Iā€™m always in awe of the stunning views from every single spot along the river here. The staff are super friendly and accomodating, the banana pancakes served at breakfast time are ALWAYS yum, and the rooms are well kept and so spacious! This is the only place I like to stay at when I come to Ubud. Its location is about a 20 min walk from town but really close to great & affordable local Warungs, the Antonio Blanco museum, and the Campuhan Ridge Walk. Also, the rice fields are close by too.P.s Youā€™ll keep fit with all the stairs here but itā€™s worth it!
