Beautiful location, wonderful Eco Permaculture tours, caring staff, and the restaurant food is amazing. Particularly the fried chicken - normally I can’t have this dish because I’m gluten-free and can only eat organic food. It really is heavenly.

I stayed here for 5 nights with totally relax time with good atmosphere!All staffs are very kind, friendly and helpful!They have very cozy restaurants with beautiful scenery of gardens and buildings and you can enjoy your time and super delicious food here. Many international people come here.It has great value to stay here with those relax time but Mana Earthly Paradise is also the place for the real circulated earth friendly destination for those who are thinking about health, eco friendly, eco village, sustainability, future architecture and landscape.I learned a lot of things from here.Most of their buildings are made by local natural materials such as bamboo, wood, and grass. These materials can be went back to the earth again after using and it makes jobs for local people.They produce own organic healthy food for restaurants in their gardens and rice field and make Indonesian and Japanese fusion super delicious food.They have special system for making safe and clean drinking water from rain water.Luckily I could join the celebrations party for their 5 years. It was awesome memory for me this time.I strongly recommend you to stay here once.

Asuka Hamakawa, who was selected as one of NewsWeek's ``100 Japanese People Respected by the World'' in 2021, and the general incorporated association ``Earth Company'' run by her husband are working to support impact heroes who have an impact on the world. An eco-hotel built as a profitable business.We operate with as little impact on the Bali environment as possible, including water, electricity, construction methods, and food.The location is a little away from a busy street, in a quiet area with rice fields in the background. It takes about 45 minutes to walk through the rice fields on a back road to the Royal Palace in the center of Ubud. The morning walk is the best in the typical Ubud scenery.The rooms at the villa are made of earthen walls and bamboo roofing, and the rooms are comfortable, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. The staff are smiling and working happily. Recommended.However, students from Japan and other countries sometimes stay overnight for training and workshops, so if you don't want to be there, it might be a good idea to inquire in advance.

Not a good experience.Went there with a impact study programme, staff (of both restaurant and programme leader) are not friendly. food was terrible, i understand that you're making effort to the zero waste but you could have make it more appealing...They charge the programme very expensive but very short-staffed.Also they tend to look down at people who they think is not as equal as them.They're doing hotel business but know no hospitality.Avoid this hotel at all cost.Service at hotel is not as good as promoted. Takes forever to get even just one reply from the reception staff. And when i got there, oh boy them blamed everything on the internet and they told me that i'm not the only guest they have to serve... perfect.it takes a group effort to let people down this much and they made it. congrats.

The breakfast was consistently “midding”, I really love the idea of how there is emphasis on “food as medicine” and hence the food is really nutritious but at the expense of taste. but I feel from the meals that was served over my 2 nights stay, it seems catered towards a “white-centric” audience, where there wasn’t much Indonesian cuisine featured in the meals. Additionally, coffee seems to be very mid, with Bali coffee being bland.I really appreciate the effort that Mana has made in being intentional with all its facilities, resource management as well as designing the guest experience to be a pleasant one. Service of staff was immaculate, but tends to lean towards short-staffed with the housekeeping mistakes made during the stay. (But very commendable effort in rectifying mistakes, but things like missing pillowcase, non-adjustable showers - hot and cold water- where showers just blasted cold water with no option to adjust the water… suggests a lack of regular maintenance or standards.)

We stayed here for 2 nights in November. The place itself is nice, but I didn't feel the hospitality.Probably because it was around the time of our 4th anniversary party, there were no other guests staying except for us. I think you may have booked your accommodation by mistake.First, after checking in, I was suddenly requested to check out at 8 o'clock on the last day.Since it happened so suddenly, I was quite troubled, so I asked them to change it to one night instead of consecutive nights.However, it was difficult to make changes, and in the end I was asked to stay multiple nights and move to a single villa on the morning of the third day.I had been communicating with the front desk staff for a long time, but even though there was a representative nearby, there was no apology, which made me feel uncomfortable.The staff must have been excited for the anniversary party, but they didn't really care about our family.I think it was probably a day when I couldn't stay overnight if it was true. The construction noise was too loud.If so, I would have liked to stay for one night. . .It was a good experience for me as I am also running an inn.I don't think there can be a service that doesn't value the customer in front of it, even if it's for a good cause and says nice things.I will never stay there again.

We had a great time at the Mana Earthy Paradise. The villa was very nice and huge! The garden, the location itself and the whole surrounding was very special (in a good way :)The staff was helpful and extremly friendly.The only downer: The ducks were VERY loud at night because we stayed there after the rice harvest, so that the ducks used the fields as a pool ;)The restaurant was also extremly good!Highly recommend this place! 10/10 ;)
