I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sayan House Bali with my family from 13 Sept to 16 Sept 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience. Even though there was a delay at the airport with my luggage and I arrived very late, from the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and exceptional hospitality, especially from Mr. Dewa, who went above and beyond to ensure I was checked in to ensure my stay was perfect.The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the ambiance was both serene and inviting. The cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home.Breakfast was a highlight of our stay. The selection was diverse and flexible, catering to all tastes and preferences. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious and beautifully presented meals.Thank you, Mr. Dewa, and the entire team at Sayan House Bali, for making our stay so memorable. I can’t wait to return!

My partner I stayed at The Sayan House Villas for 4 nights during our time in Ubud. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Dewa and The Sayan House team who gave us a tour of the villa and made sure we were properly settled.Let me just start by saying that the photos don’t do the place justice. There is so much attention to detail that has gone into the property from the decor, styling, lighting and amenities, everything felt high end, bespoke and well thought out. The view from the property was simply breathtaking, very unassuming as you approach from the main road. We could have easily spent the four days relaxing in the villa and making use of all the amenities. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and having it set up in the private garden was a great way to start our day.The villa is connected to The Sayan House restaurant via a private gate. During the afternoon and evenings the restaurant had such an amazing buzz about it that added to the overall ambiance of our stay. For two of our nights Dewa took care of our dinner reservations at the restaurant and ensured we had the best seats in the house overlooking the valley. The food was incredible, definitely a favourite during our time in Bali. From the private entry, personalised hospitality, and the welcoming staff we felt nothing short of VIP’s staying here.Overall I can say that one of the most incredible places we’ve had the pleasure of staying in. The level of detail and attentiveness was unmatched and we’ll 100% be back very soon. Thank you again to Dewa and The Sayan House team.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sayan House Villa in Ubud, and I am compelled to share the wonderful experience I had.Nestled in the lush landscapes of Ubud, this villa stands out with its exquisite Japanese-inspired design that marries simplicity with elegance. The architecture and interiors reflect a thoughtful aesthetic, providing a peaceful and calming environment that invites relaxation and introspection.The views from the villa are nothing short of breathtaking. And in the evening you will be left in awe as a spectacle of vibrant colors as the sun set majestically behind the horizon, as you watch it from the beautiful garden lookout area, or the terrace in the master bedroom.A standout feature of my stay was the delicious complimentary Japanese breakfast. Healthy and satisfying.The warmth and hospitality of the villa staff added immensely to the enjoyment of my stay. Dewa and Putu, in particular, were exceptional. They were attentive and always available to assist with genuine smiles and professionalism.For anyone looking for a tranquil escape with stunning views, exceptional food, and heartfelt service, Sayan House Villa in Ubud is truly a gem worth experiencing.

We found this magical villa while searching for accommodation near one of our favourite restaurants in Ubud - Sayan House. We were pleasantly surprised that it was now possible to stay in the neighbouring - Sayan House Villas.Our experience, from the friendly welcome by Mr Dewa and his amazing team, until it was time to leave, cannot be compared to anything we have experienced in Bali, although we have visited a number of times.The villa is exquisitely and functionally decorated with Scandinavian design classics in an exciting mix with the colonial style that permeates the entire Sayan House concept.We also appreciated the fine collection of interesting books on Bali's history, architecture and gastronomy.Unfortunately, we only had a couple of days at Sayan House Villas but were able to enjoy the unbeatable view of the Sayan Valley from our magical patio for breakfast and sunset.In the evening before we slipped through the villa's magical secret door for dinner at the Sayan House restaurant, we had a refreshing cold bath in the outdoor tub to cool off after a nice sauna.On departure, we were humbly asked if we had any requests or tips for possible improvements to the villa or service, but it was simply impossible to think of anything negative or anything to improve.We were treated royally throughout our stay and immediately made plans to return as we left paradise behind on our way through the maddening traffic chaos of Ubud towards the airport.Peter & BellaAugust 2024

We had the best time here. Much appreciation to Dewa and the staff for their hospitality and warmth.Beautifully designed house, every corner is filled with thoughtful touches and of course the view is incredible. Food was amazing and we got a lot of use out of the sauna and pool :).We definitely want to come back!

one of the most comfortable villa i have stay in Ubud. Very good, very comfortable, very clean and it is like a home away from home. Everything you possibly need is there, full kitchen, fridge full of drinks (FOC), jacuzzi, and a Sauna! The manager Mr. Dewa, was so helpful in making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. providing us not just material things but information, attractions, activities, the ins and outs of Ubud. Big thanks to him. Will surely come back again. Oh, one more thing, breakfast was fantastic!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Sayan House Villas in Ubud, Bali from the 28th May to the 31st May, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa, which featured two rooms, was the epitome of luxury and modern comfort.From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the high-tech amenities in the rooms. Each room was equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a television with Netflix for those cozy nights in. The attention to detail in the design and functionality of the rooms was remarkable, making my stay both comfortable and enjoyable.The service at The Sayan House Villas was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests. One of the standout features was the complimentary drinks, which added a special touch to the overall experience.The villa's pool and the view from the house were breathtaking. We had the most beautiful, serene view that made our stay incredibly relaxing. It was so comfortable staying there, with the option to use the sauna in the outside area. Each room was equipped with a bathtub, shower, and a super high-tech toilet. The toilets were particularly impressive, as they would open automatically when you walked towards them and had various high-tech functions operated by buttons.The price that we paid was totally worth it, and we would stay in this villa again and again on our next trip to Bali. The luxurious accommodations, coupled with the outstanding service, made it an excellent value. Following the restaurant, there is also Villa.Everything about it is so great that there's no need to go to Four Seasons or Mandapa except for the sense of scale.It's reserved, and the price is definitely cheaper.You can't beat the spectacular view. Perhaps this is a better response.There will definitely come a day when you won't be able to make a reservation.Personally, sauna is the best.The kids were playing in the pool and eating pancakes.

What an amazing stay! Dewa and Team are amazing and helped deliver such an amazing experience. I ended up booking serendipitously as I actually already had accommodation but had stopped in to Sayan House for sunset dinner and toured the villa. It was so awesome, I ended up booking on the spot and paying double. The home is designed to the owner's taste inside and out (Japanese) and is directly next door to Sayan House so easy access to their amazing food and drinks. I'd heartily recommend this villa to anyone in the market and I'll certainly be returning. Cheers Dewa and Team! Best, Mark

The Sayan House is a one of a kind villa!!! As a family we stayed for a few nights and couldn’t get over the beauty and serenity of the exotic set up… The house inside was fully equipped with everything we needed and the outdoors was the most breathtaking and as private as can be. All the staff was so welcoming and helpful that we felt right at home. The Villa is in a perfect location with direct access to the house restaurant, food was superb as we had lovely drinks and dinner with a direct view of the sunset. The activities such as river rafting and the jungle swing is just minutes away so we got to do it all!!! We will definitely return to stay at the Sayan Villa and highly recommend it to all!!!

I really like the details and the ambience theres, feels so homie.. the combination between traditional and modern tech is balance. I love the onsen, bathtub, pool, the view and sauna there, unfortunately couldnt have time to try those facilities. I like the variety food for breakfast, fhe presentation, the taste of Japanese set and the services is so great. However i dont think balinese porridge is my fav. Ohya one more, i like the hidden bed, close to the pool.We al so tried the resto, unfortunately, the taste is not as good as i expected, the meat is too salty m, the chimcimcury & another sauce’s taste is not really the taste, the french fries is ok, the fried fish is not as good as what i usually eat too, the fried rice is ok,the prawn is good, and the appetizer is quite good. Ohya I have to asked for 2 x to different person to turn off the fan

The Sayan House Villa was a dream. The house is so tastefully decorated and set up. With every detail thoughtfully sourced and placed around the property. Although it definitely has a Bali tropical vibe to it, it also has a very unique style that is unlike any other villa or hotel room I've visited in Ubud. Everything is in perfect state, and the house was spotless and sparkling.The biggest attraction is waking up to the dramatic landscape of the Sayan valley. I spent hours sitting both in the master bedroom's balcony and at the far end of the garden looking out. The sauna and Japanese onsen were also quite the experience, something you won't find in many other places in the area.The rooms are super spacious and beautiful. There are several great spaces to hang out. The bathrooms are enormous and feature super cool smart toilets.Dewa, the villa manager, was a superstar. Looking out for our every need and always a Whatsapp message away.The house is full of nice amenities and goodies that you’ll discover bit by bit. And its stocked with everything you might need for a comfy stay. You can also order food from The Sayan House, which is amazing or go there for a sunset cocktail and nice chillout music!

The hotel is about 20 minutes' drive from the main center and next to the Four Seasons Hotel. The facilities and supplies are all very good, and it can be seen that a lot of thought has been put into them. Breakfast is delicious, especially the Indonesian fried rice! The manager, Dewa, is the heart and soul of the hotel. He is friendly and helpful, responsive to all requests, and is like a personal butler. I have to say that he makes the hotel perfect. I have many trips in Ubud and everything goes smoothly with him!
