the family was very kind and welcoming, I felt safe here during my solo trip for 5 nights. the rooms are a bit outdated but they are really big / spacious. my room was downstairs and there was so much room on the patio so every morning i would wake up and would sit on the patio with the sun on my face and with a great breakfast! this villa is only a couple hundred meters away from beautiful rice paddies & it’s around 15 minutes from the centre which makes it a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. i would definitely recommend this place if you’re going to Ubud and you like a more secluded place!!

The Balinese I've encountered can be broadly categorized into two groups:1.. The Kind-hearted and Welcoming: These individuals exude warmth and genuine kindness. When renting a house from them, they often extend their hospitality by sharing fruits, food, and other tokens of appreciation. The bonds formed are so deep that parting from them regularly results in emotional farewells. Their actions seem deeply rooted in their beliefs, including the concept of karma, ensuring they act with integrity and goodwill. I typically attribute their compassion not just towards humans, but also animals, to their religious beliefs. I've been fortunate to meet many from this group during my stay.2. The Profit-driven Individuals: This group is primarily concerned with maximizing profit, sometimes even at the expense of their own community. They aren't hesitant to inflate prices or exploit situations to their advantage. For instance, some might unexpectedly increase the cost of rentals or charge unfairly for damages and services. This family clearly belongs to the 2 category. They increased the rental price several times. And they blackmailed me into paying more. At the same time, they cut services (I had to pay separately for gas and couldn't use air conditioning). They finally forced me to move out after a year of renting and making regular payments to them.It is also important to note that the same procedure was also used with the other roommates. They then moved out too.

I have stayed here for many years when I’ve visited Bali.Devy and family are the loveliest people but it’s also very private. Clean with gorgeous views from upstairs. The included breakfast is very generous and delicious and the location is excellent.Strong wifi for working and a good desk and chair. It is a little noisy with scooter traffic and horns, being very close to the road but this is most of Bali.

We had a 3 week stay at Ubud Batik Villa and it was exceptional. The accommodation had a nice view of the rice fields. We had a kitchen available. The accommodation was clean and very bright. The internet connection was perfect for working and watching videos. The owners are adorable, caring and respond very quickly to your requests. The breakfasts are varied and delicious. The accommodation is well located 5 minutes walk from the first amenities and 20 minutes walk from a shopping center. The owners offer scooter rental at a good price.Ideal if you are looking for calm, far from the hustle and bustle of the city center. If we come back to Bali, we will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place, the villa is located in a typical place, there are no roosters nearby, it doesn’t even smell like them)) the view is gorgeous, the owners are excellent, I definitely recommend it! I lived in the room for a month, I would have stayed longer, but it’s a pity it’s time to move on

A very secluded place in a beautiful rice region. First of all, I will say right away that the owners really love their business, before our move they cleaned up very well and prepared everything, also the cleaning that is done here is thorough, not in a hurry. I think this is important for many .We lived here for a month and would have stayed longer, but unfortunately our vacation is coming to an end. Every morning we drank coffee and had breakfast with a beautiful view of the rice fields, and worked in a very bright and spacious room, and in the evening we fell asleep to the sounds of nature. No roosters bothered us in the morning, because they are not here. There is a fan, air conditioning, a private kitchen with absolutely all accessories, and if we needed something, the owners always found a solution. Very kind and cheerful owners, always ready to help. They also rent bikes, and their daughter gives excursions. And also I want to note that you can only get here by motorbike, that is, away from the road, and this was a plus for us, because every morning we ran along the route here, and no cars bothered us. If we return to Bali, then only here ❤️

Stayed here for 3 nights at a very cheap price. The room is very comfortable, equipped with a new and clean bathroom, there is a bathtub with warm water. There is a complete kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, dispenser and cooking utensils, allowing us to cook ourselves. Daily breakfast is delivered to the room. The villa is located in the middle of beautiful rice fields and is very quiet. The only drawback is that it is located in an alley so it is not accessible by car. You can rent a motorbike from the owner at a cheap price too. Would you like to stay here again sometime?
