We booked this place for 4 nights before reading the bad reviews, the oldest being over 7 years ago, so don't believe the owner when they act surprised when you complain, they are fully aware of the villa's short comings and desperate need of maintenance.Ended up cancelling and booking somewhere else that is safe and comfortable.

This is an old property (with lots of heavy glass doors) that seriously requires massive renovation. The glass doors are jammed which makes it hard to slide, ACs are in bad condition, bugs and lizards enter the room due to gap between the doors, pool is not clean and its light doesn't work, lobby area gets hot during the day, kitchen and refrigerator smells bad.The only good part about the property is its location (close to the beach and the market) and the care takers who are working tirelessly and going above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible (which is hard given the condition of the property).

The villa is impeccable and service is amazing I must admit the pool was murky at first but you just have to swim in it! It is only dirty as it is surrounded by beautiful plants and some leafs fall in. Only one underwater light worked which was a bit of a downside for night time swimming but the outside lights made it a lot better and gave it a great feel. The pool is now crystal clear as advertised in pictures. The kitchen is pretty well equipped considering the price as its got a kettle,rice cooker,stove,microwave, mugs,plates utensils etc. It is only a 15 minute walk down the hill to the beach for a nice sunrise walk of which I did it is surrounded by lovely places to eat and drink out and the place it is located is a beautiful environment with a really nice gate leading up to the villas. I've had a wonderful time the past 7 days and still have 3 more to go the reviews at first put me off but I must say they are hard to please people and expect to have everything the world could ever supply in 1 villa. The beds are amazing and so comfy and the cleaners clean your room once a day to make sure it's clean I've had the most wonderful time. Unfortunately the wifi wasn't working but we told the staff and it got sorted out right away and I mean right away they immediately had someone come in and fix it the TV in our room is supplied with many channels but when we got it the TV had a green line through it but guess what! It got fixed right away! The staff are amazing and so kind and so is everyone in canggu I highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone it is fully family friendly.
