The contsruction in and around the hotel is not even my issue after what happened after checked in!We arrived late last night. First the 200m very narrow dirt path which the hotel has their new additional construction that car cant go so you have to walk to reach to the reception with heavy bags is a big problem! Reaching the reception, we were given a very small room and when l remembered that our room was with balcony then we changed the room. With the bags going up and down! (Later we understood that the room I booked needs fixing the water in the toilet which comes to the room! But they still sell that room online!). The wardrobe in the room didn't have the stick where we can hang the hangers! Poor receptionist made a stick for it by trying 3 times to cut,to stick etc.(Btw just fyi no fridge in the room with that hot and humid weather!)Then another surprise in the bath room! Because of the bad flooring the water came into the room. We had to sleep with it because it was already late, we were tired. No even fan in the bathroom which would help to dry the floor! So almost half of the water was still there in the morning. The rain shower hasn't been cleaned for a long time that's why holes are blocked and the water presure comes and goes. There is only one plug by the bed so guests have to choose either to charge the phone or use the head light! And again fyi, there is construction 30m next to our wall and another 3 construction next, front and around which made us woke up at 6am. I know it's not the hotel's fault that's why it's not a complain, just to inform you what you have to deal while you are staying in the hotel.I asked for the cancelation of my 2 next nights and the owner said water from the toilet is not a problem, no one complained before! After arguing they said come after 1 month then we will pay you!

It was difficult to find; from the main street there is only a small sign, almost invisible. The way to the hotel was through an unlit long alley, the staff helped us carry our suitcases. The hotel area is small, with a small pool, but very green and beautiful. There is a pond with carps. The room itself is quite spacious, but very dark, there was a lack of natural light (we were in a double room on the ground floor, with a table and bench outside). There were stains on the bed linen. Slippers are not provided. When you take a shower, water will be everywhere. Is there a safe in the room. At the reception there is a shared refrigerator, no kettle. You can ask for coffee to be made for you in the morning. Even if we woke up late, there was a thermos of hot water, coffee and sugar waiting on our table outside.I liked the good location of the hotel, close to the beach, there are many cafes and restaurants around.

If you are looking for calm: flee!!Work 🚧 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. We were not informed about booking. We started to worry when we saw the free earplugs placed on the bedside table. The hammer, the saws, it doesn't stop etc. Even during the day: impossible to read by the pool. We only took 2 nights and fortunately. I can’t imagine people who book and pay in advance for 1 or 2 weeks! It’s an extremely shame because the rooms are very beautiful, the swimming pool and the vegetation are magnificent and pleasant. Well located, close to everything.Ps: ah I'm not talking about the mosquito problem. In 1 month in Bali never had a problem and here in 1 night, we were disillusioned. We can't wait to get out of here.I spoke to the reception staff about it: the only response we got was: so sorry. What a regret!

Location is great, lots of great restaurants nearby. Also alot of clothing shops nearby. The entrance to the homestay is a bit... well. But the homestay itself is great! Lots of plants and trees.Dont expect much from the pool, but the beach is in walkable distance.

Everything is fine. Very nice well-kept territory, attentive staff. The bathroom needs repair, there is an unpleasant smell.

The Melati Bali 2 is a small enchanted apartment hotel. However, there is currently a lot of construction going on around the area, so unfortunately the noise from the construction site was a bit tiring on the ears. In the evening when the construction work was finished it was pretty relaxed and we were able to enjoy the enchanted ambience and the peace even more. The room, as well as the ambience itself, have a functional interior design. The Melati Bali 2 is just as enchanting and cozy as shown in the photos. The staff are very friendly and quite helpful. We felt very comfortable here despite the construction sites all around. That's why we spontaneously stayed there for a whole week instead of the planned 4 days until we set off further. The way to the beach was also within walking distance with our surfboards. To the team, thank you very much for the pleasant time with you

THEY STOLE 250€ FROM US!!! We stayed there for three nights. Everything‘s dirty, wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. But to top it off: after we checked out we counted the money we left in the room and 250€ were missing. We locked the room every time we left. Definitely was them. Worst experience on Bali. You should be ashamed of yourself!!!Also, after we left a negative (but simply honest) review on Airbnb they threatened to send their „friends in Canggu“ after us for „lying“. So, first, they let guests sleep in dirty, used linens and steal from you aaaand then they threaten you. Exactly what kind of place is this?! Seriously DO NOT book this!
