A complete disappointment compared to other accommodations in the Togean IslandsThe issues began right from the start, with the boat that was supposed to pick us up at Wakai harbor. We were asked 150k for the ride, but when we boarded, we had to push the boat ourselves through the filthy, brown, trash-filled water of the harbor. The boat was overloaded with us two, the two owners, and multiple gallons of water. Upon reaching Kadidiri, we had to push the heavy boat again, this time crushing dead coral along the shore in the intense heat for a good 15 minutes, injuring ourselves in the process. Before we even had time to unpack, one of the owners (who hadn’t even greeted us) came straight over to ask for the boat fare. Taken aback by this, we politely explained that, given the effort we had to put in, we wouldn’t be paying the full price. He didn’t understand our reasoning and insisted we pay the full amount without any acknowledgment of our help. After some back and forth, we told him we would be nice enough to pay him 100k, as the boat wouldn’t have left or arrived without our assistance.That first night, we discovered our room (the middle one) was infested with cockroaches — over 10 appeared within just a few hours. We requested to change rooms the next day, which was accepted, though the new room had fewer but still some cockroaches.The food was decent but rarely enough, and unlike most accommodations, they offered no snacks in the afternoon.The beach at Lestari is the dirtiest on the island and the only littered with plastic, making it disgusting to swim in. While other accommodations actively clean their beaches, this one doesn't botherOn our last day, we asked for a ride back to Wakai harbor along with another couple staying at the accommodation. We expected to pay 150k, as that was the previously quoted price. However, the owner now told us the price was 200k, explaining that 150k only covered 1-3 people, and any additional person would cost 50k extra. We quickly understood that the owner was just trying to scam us because every price in the Togean is fixed by boat and never passenger.So if you’re looking for a beach covered in plastic, anti-social owners who only talk to you when it’s time to pay, limited food, and a cockroach-infested room, then Pondok Lestari Kadidiri is the perfect place for you.

We spent 4 nights at Pondok Lestari. There are 2 slightly larger resorts next door, but we were happy to have ended up in the family-run Pondok Lestari. There are currently 5 bungalows. There is only one bed with a mosquito net, but it was very, very clean. The family is friendly and if you need anything you just have to ask. Akmal speaks English quite well and talked to us a lot. The food was sufficient and tasty.Thank you especially to you Akmal!

the owners never said hello to us during our stay. when we arrived no one greeted us and we even looked for the reception until the owner (who had been next to us from the beginning) finally introduced herself. the cabins are very pretty and have a beautiful view, it is clean. the meals are not plentiful and we were hungry. for our part, we did not feel welcome at all. when leaving, the owner came and we thought she was going to say goodbye to us but instead she said "It's 150,000 for the boat".

What a wonderful 3 nights it was here.My bungalow was spacious and was equipped with the most necessary things (including mosquito net and hammock). Bathroom clean and pleasant.The jungle invites you to take a walk. You can reach the wild Barakuda Bay beach and Harmony Bay via trails.The house reef with its healthy corals and variety of fish is wonderful to snorkel with. There are several entrances here. Either on site on the beach or from the jetty of the nearby Kadidiri Resort.You can occasionally get a net in Barakuda Bay or you can buy GB on site at the Blue Marlin next door.A special highlight for me was the acquaintance and hospitality of Akmal. He took me and others fishing on the boat, invited us to watch him spearfishing at night snorkeling.Thank you Akmal for these experiences and adventures!Thank you Akmal, for those great moments and experiences!Great other guests on site and the food was always delicious too!Excellent value for money.I can warmly recommend the paradisiacal place!

It is a place with very, very basic rooms. The food is delicious, as well as the location is ideal. But the best thing is the attention of the family that runs the establishment, all facilities and kindness. They make you feel at home. For that reason alone it is worth visiting.

Adorable family who manages the guesthouse. Unfortunately when we were there, they didn't offer us many activities so we got a little bored.

Really nice experience here. Since the initial contact with Kak Teteng, I was able to help with boat transportation to Kadidiri, as well as information on transportation to Palu. In front of the accommodation you can snorkel for hours because it is rich in gardens. If you want to go to Jellyfish Lake, you can also ask for help. But there is no signal here, if you want to connect behind this accommodation there is an area called Bara Kuda Bay, more or less near Harmony Bay, you can snorkel and surf the internet from here. Electricity is only available at night for a few hours. Even so, this was the most epic place on my trip around Sulawesi, I felt really satisfied snorkeling here, especially when Akmal invited me to do night snorkeling, that's the highlight of my birthday trip.

It was fantastic and really hard to ride again after the beautiful days here
