Having stayed in several resorts in the Togian Islands, I must say that this one is the least satisfactory…The value for money is absolutely not up to par with other neighboring resorts. The chalet is really very average, although the price is not :)The beach is impassable due to algae, so if you come here to enjoy the sea, you're missing out. And this is unfortunately one of the main reasons to come to the Togian Islands…As for the food, it is just OK, well below what is available in other resorts.Attending guests often seem to have failed to find a place at Sera Beach, spend a night here, and then leave. To top it all off, at the end of the stay the owner tries to charge you IDR 200,000 for a 5 minute boat ride to Pulau Papan to take the public ferry… when all the other nearby hotels don't even charge this kind of service!

We really enjoyed our stay in this very quiet and intimate little corner of paradise (only 6 bungalows!).The owners were very attentive to us, preparing:- delicious and varied menus (with fresh vegetables!),- outings to superb reefs, often in direct proximity to the lodge,- flexibility of the hosts who offered us personalized excursions according to our wishes and even when we requested it at the last minute,-authenticity,- smilesGo there with your eyes closed, in any case we will be delighted to come back :)

Had a nice stay for 3 nights :) staff was aöways helpful even though sometimes it is a bit difficult to communicate. The tours they organize are also nice, did a half day tour to nearby village and reef snorkeling as well as a full day tour to jellyfish lake and another reef. Also they rent snorkeling set for 50k a day to snorkel directly at the beach in front of your bungalow. The bungalows itself are pretty basic, but there i didnt miss anything since going to Togian means relaxing and laying back :)Thank you especially to the amazing cook who made nice meals. I loved the Bubara fish, best fish i ever ate!

A dreamlike accommodation on the "lonely" island of Malenge. In total we spent four nights in a standard bungalow. We arrived from Gorontalo by night ferry (be careful with the ferry times, it departs at 3 pm not 5 pm) and in the morning from Wakai with other travelers to Malenge. This took about 1.5-2 hours. The transfer cost another 800.000 for the boat, be sure to ask other travelers to share a boat. When we left, we took a public boat from Malenge to Ampana. From the accommodation we were taken to the port in Malenge in the morning, which was very smooth and easy.We were warmly welcomed by Nurdin and his staff with breakfast and coffee. The communication with Nurdin in advance went great, fast and very friendly. He speaks very good English and can answer all your questions. The friendliness of all the people made us feel very comfortable and at home. The bungalow consists of a bed with mosquito net and bedside tables. In the bathroom there is a shower and toilet. In front of the bungalow there are hammocks and two seats with table. It is simple, but you have everything you need. Especially the direct view of the sea and the sound of the sea. In the common area there are large tables where you eat together with the other guests. Water, coffee and tea can be drunk all day. The small bay is very clean, there is hardly any trash lying around and you can snorkel right outside the door. The food was super tasty and we always got our fill. We are both vegetarians, which was no problem. You can rent snorkeling equipment and book tours. There are several reefs that can be visited. We were recommended the tour with reefs 1, 4 and 5. This was a great trip, we saw sharks, a tuna and many more fish. The boat and the corresponding costs can be shared with other guests. On the second day we made an excursion on foot to the nearby village. You can walk there in about an hour. However, you need sturdy shoes (you also get wet feet) and should pay attention to low tide. On the way we made a short tour to the Bat Cave as well. On the way there we saw a Hornbill. If you walk through the village, you will eventually come to a long bridge. Under this bridge you can go snorkeling, be sure to pack your equipment. If needed, you can also ask the villagers to take you back to your accommodation by boat.We celebrated a birthday during our stay and even got a cake with candles and a great birthday song. That was really nice! The accommodation is very clean and insanely idyllic. We saw beautiful sunsets and really enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere.Thank you very much Nurdin and team, we wish you all the best!

We booked 4 nights at Malenge Indah with our family/3 teenagers. We loved the place. manager Nourdyn and the staff is so nice. Everybody was so much enjoying their work and made us feel really welcome.. accomodation is really nice, food great and the reef just in front of the beach was one of the bests we have seen. The fact that we can use the kayak for free is is a big +. We would really recommend this place.

Superb experience in Malenge Indah with family. The place is very pleasant, the atmosphere is relaxing and everyone is smiling, all the staff do their best to be pleasant. The food is also excellent, the fish is very good, and we even had French fries which the children really enjoyed... Multiple activities are offered, for a price that seems reasonable to me. Truly a superb place to spend a fantastic few days in the Togian, and in Malenge in particular. I recommend.

Malenge Indah is not just a resort, it is also a house. I spent about three weeks on Malenge Island. I can definitely suggest you to discover this indonesian paradise: Nurdin's resort. …

Love this place. There is no signal, wifi, just a sea, snorkeling and nice food.
