Overall, I was very comfortable staying for 2 days here. At first I just had to choose from the application because other places were full, but the experience I had was beyond my expectations. Highly recommended for solo adventurers like me or those who want to bring a small family. The building may seem very old and simple from the outside, but the rooms are clean, neat and smell good. Would I come back to stay again? Absolutely!- Minus: Coincidentally the heater is broken, so you have to be able to adapt to ice cold water. But it's okay, just enjoy it! It hurts a little, but it's refreshing 😊- Pluses (many):1. His mother is kind and friendly. Every morning I always prepare home-style fried food that makes me miss it. Hot water, tea, coffee and sugar are also prepared. There are flip flops provided too.2. The view outside the room directly faces Mount Merapi. In the morning, it's really cool to sit and reflect while photosynthesising.3. The mattress is a soft spring bed type and a queen size bed. Very satisfying for me who stays alone, I can roll here and there.4. The surrounding environment is really cool for jogging and healing early in the morning.5. Close to several aesthetic cafes, just walk. The price is pricey, guys, but it's comparable to the really beautiful view of Mount Merapi.6. Close to Simpang PB VI Selo (Selo Square). You can enjoy cheaper culinary delights here as much as you like.7. Close to the hills with views of Merapi.8. Close if you want to stop by Embung Manajar or Bukit Cilenguk PB9. Close to Cepogo Cheese Park. If you ride a motorbike like me, the travel time is around 20-25 minutes.Notes:a. The air is really cold, it beats the AC. Try to bring thick and long clothes.b. At Ilalang Homestay, towels, soap, shampoo and the like are not provided. It's best to bring it yourself from home or buy it at the nearest stall/Indomaret/Alfamart.c. There is 1 bathroom and 1 toilet. They are located outside all the rooms. If there are other guests, use a change.d. The yard is safe for motorbike parking. It's also spacious enough to park two cars.

I've been at this homestay since 8 years ago. At first it wasn't on purpose. You can find this homestay online. Now every year I come to this homestay 2 - 3 times. So I know the owner of the homestay, Mrs. Siti & Mr. Jinu. Who is always friendly with us. Because, you don't have a village. Now it has become a routine like returning to the village. Almost never absent.

Ilalang homestay in Selo Boyolali, Central Java.A decent, nice and clean village house.The host Mrs. Siti is friendly and kind.There are 2 rooms, spring beds with capacity for 2 adults and 1 child, and the main room is wide enough for 2 large families. 1 KM and 1 clean toilet. Price 150 - 175 thousand 12 hours. For 175 you can get additional evening and morning snacks.Unlimited coffee, tea and ginger service, smooth bath water.The view is good, you can see the city of Boyolali and the peak of Mount Merapi which is really good for BG photos.In essence, I really recommend it, please adventurers who love mountains and nature can stay here, all 1 village for a Homestay with the same price and good, friendly service.Because it is being supported by villages and cooperatives.5 stars.

The mother and father who own the house are trashed. Very friendly. Tea coffee sugar drinking water dispenser is continuously supplied. If you're done, just say so, happy to help. I hope you are always healthy, sir.

Just stopped by planning to stay overnight but it was quiet, confused about what to order.Enter the Damandiri homestay area. Along the road there are all homestays, and it is close to Merapi Garden and Argo II

The place is clean, the lady has a good view and of course when you open the room you will immediately get a majestic view of Merapi

Comfortable but cheap homestay. The view from the bedroom really amazes you and makes you feel at home. Apart from that, the snacks made by Mrs. Jinu are also really delicious. Now when I come here (24/05/2018), the yard is being beautified with a garden. It's not finished yet, so there are no photos yet. It's less "mysterious" if you show up for photos when it's a mess like it is now.(27/12/2020) stayed here with my extended family. Just getting prettier.
