We just returned from an incredible 2-week trip to Bali. We stayed in Ubud, Uluwatu, and Nusa Lembongan. We're still dreaming of this villa in Ubud. It was so peaceful, clean, and private, and our host Dewa was super responsive and provided amazing service even in the days up to Nyepi Day (Silent Day), the big Balinese holiday. The location was far enough away from the bustle to enjoy peace & quiet, but close enough to be a quick ride/drive to excellent restaurants and activities. We hiked Mount Batur, went ATVing and white water rafting, visited the rice terraces, watched the Ogoh Ogoh parade in a local village, and enjoyed sooo much local food in just a few days. The in-villa massages and the private chef experience were excellent, too!The villa itself was well-kept, well-stocked, had ample space for our group of three, and had everything we needed. The pool provided a refreshing break from the heat & humidity while still being able to enjoy the gorgeous, lush jungle view. Relaxing in the hammock in the yoga chalet provided respite from the sun or provided a great spot to stay dry while watching a thunderstorm. As an active group, we very much appreciated the outdoor gym. It was no chincy hotel gym, but was fully stocked with a power rack and bumper plates, rower, and assault bike. We were worried it would be too hot to work out, but the thoughtful sunshades and fans kept the heat at bay, and we were able to cool off quickly rinsing off in the outdoor shower before jumping back into the pool. This was the first place we stayed at in Bali, and I wish we had reversed our itinerary, because our lodging for the rest of the trip paled in comparison. Thank you, Villa Kizmet Fit for an incredible stay!
