I was there with a group of 28. You can imagine my surprise when we were told that we had to surrender our passports and could not be returned until check out. This may include cleanliness, unfriendly/unprofessional staff. High not recommended & totally did not satisfy.

Location & car park are good. Reliable WiFi. Water pressure is also good. Hot water is good. Its frontage means the rooms on the front of the building suffer from street noise. Maybe ask for rooms in the back when making reservations. The air con works, though it’s a tad noisy. Sorry, but the room carpets are disgusting. The pillows are super old & hard as bricks. The rooms smell tired / old. When was the last time you saw an ash tray in a hotel room? Home Sweet Hotel provides two in every room. Though interestingly, our rooms did not reek of smoke. Maybe HSH has to provide ash tray’s due to client expectations. The cleaning service is good and the hotel provides water bottles and mini fridges. The lobby smells of smoke.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Would like to say that this is a nice, small, historic hotel. Affordable price. Recommended.1. The location is in the heart of the city, close to the fresh market, convenient, suitable for walking and exploring the city.2. Friendly staff Beaming3. The rooms are clean, spacious, everything works well.4. Breakfast is not served. But you can walk to the fresh market near the hotel, no more than 100 meters (Tao snacks and taro snacks in the market are very delicious).

The cleanliness of the room is acceptable. The air-conditioning system is really bad. It has not been cleaned and maintained for a long time. It is so hot🤬

15th-17th February 2024- I came back to stay for 2 nights . I notice the management is listening to my complaint about the car parking at the motorcycle parking area. They disallowed the car parking at the motorcycle parking bay. Thank you very much. Hopefully, I could not see any car at the motorcycle parking bay. I'm returning a STAR to you for your good work.8th-10th January 2024 - This time, I decided to stay for 3 nights. The reason I chose this hotel is because I could park my motorcycle right in front of the reception and beside the guard house. That makes me feel good and comfortable. However. I noticed a few Malaysia cars parking there, which does not permit because there is plenty of parking space at the back. Hope the management will continue to allot more parking space for bikers.5th February 2023 - My visit after 4 years, I noticed there are no changes made except 2 new couches in the lobby. Well, I think it is time for them to renovate all the rooms. For that, I'm taking a star away from 4 to 3 now. SORRY.OLDER REVIEW - My favourite hotel in Betong, close to my friend shop opposite of the road.

Staff are not helpful and unwelcoming. Asking for own belonging and passport but he refuse to provided until we insist. Hotel condition was poor.

It was the first time for our family to stay in this hotel, ten people, five rooms. The location is in the city center, there is a market, there are many restaurants nearby, and 7-Eleven is not far away. The room cleanliness is also good and the price is moderate. I will come back next time.
