Mocean Dive Resort

A little gem!This was our second time there and we extended our stay for the second time!The Mocean Dive Resort is beautifully located directly on a beautiful bay with a wonderful white sandy beach. You can even swim and snorkel comfortably at low tide (which is not possible in many places in Indonesia!!!). If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday, you have come to the right place. No hustle and bustle. Hardly any tourists (yet). The complex has a beautiful pool with a view of the sea. Spacious and clean rooms, brilliant shower (with good water pressure), extremely friendly and courteous staff. Our clothes were even folded every day! Very good food in the in-house restaurant, there is something delicious on the menu for every taste! We travel often, but Matt and his team know how to respond to their guests like no other and make their stay an unforgettable experience!Diving with the manta rays at the in-house dive center was an absolute highlight. It was only our small group in the water, no crowds of tourists (yet) like at many other spots! Definitely try it out!We'll be back!

They serve the best food in the area, with a pretty view on the bay.Beautiful diving, we were the only ones on the dive spots. All the equipment is brand new.The manager is super nice, we felt very welcomed. We’ll come again!

We spent wonderful, unforgettable days at Mocean. Where should we even start?Last year we happened to spend a few days at the newly opened resort. This year we came directly for 14 days. We were pampered from A to Z. The staff was sweet and spoiled us from morning to evening with great food and kind words.Mat, the manager, was constantly there and made sure we felt particularly comfortable.A particular highlight were several dives where we saw countless manta rays, turtles and reef sharks.

Paradise on earth! The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located, on the beach in front of 3 différent great waves to surf! The staff is super nice, the owner very welcoming, and the foood is amazing!!! Big thanks to the best diving instructor Julie, super pro and very nice !

Super attentive and he goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable!Detailed report here:Last year we've been lucky to be the first customers. We've stayed in another place on the island. By coincidence we found the newly opened mocean and left the other instagramable place earlier. We wanted to stay 2 days in mocean and ended up staying waaaayyyyyy longer. Mat the manager is the heart and soul of this hotel and his staff are truly the best and sooooo very attentive and sweet. As we liked it so much last year we came again and this time stayed 3 weeks. We had perfect holidays here.The quiet rooms have water cookers, a fridge, a chair, darkening curtains, a safe, an aircon, a ventilator, a large closet with hangers and shelfs and even an iron and ironing board. The bed is sooo comfortable (even for me with my sensitive back) and big - also for tall people.The pretty bathroom is very spacious and you have all the towels you need. There is a rainshower and normal shower, a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap and lots of light.The housekeeping is amazing!!!! They even fold all my clothes I had laying around.We are spoiled food lovers and enjoy good food and dining out in very good restaurants around the globe. The mocean restaurant was heaven for us especially when you compare the other possibilities on the island. We loved the burgers, fruit bowls and really special is the large Tomahawk Steak for two.They definitely serve the best cappuccino on the island. Great espresso in it and nicely decorated. And I'm very spoiled in my coffee taste. ;-)There are beautiful flowers blooming everywhere. Palm trees and other lush green plants are along the paths from the entrance on.The white and super clean beach is just in front. It's unique to find such a calm beach nowadays that is not crowded.As a diver you will dive in almost untouched areas and as a beginner you get trained by certified instructors in the specially therefore designed pool on site. Mat helped me overcome some bad experience I made on the Maldives.We had six excellent dives with top equipment. We've seen dozen of Mantas swimming around us. The feeling was incredible. So beautiful coral gardens and fish everywhere!We travel a lot and have seen a lot of places. Mat's mocean, his professional service and heartwarming staff are exceptionally outstanding!!!! Thank you!If you get a chance to stay here - grab it!!!

Amazing spot, great beach ,waves,hotel and the pool is 🤤🤤🤤🤤. Having lunch by the pool with these views is priceless!! Good food too!

Amazing experience!!We stayed at the Mocean Resort in July 2024 and it was the best decision we made. The Resort is by far the best hotel we’ve been to on our journey throughout Indonesia.Everything was exceptional! The rooms are very comfortable and offer huge bathrooms. We were greeted with a barista coffee every morning and the food was super delicious. We got help with every special request we had and were surprised with the best birthday cake we can imagine during a hotel stay. Thanks again Matt and your team for the awesome job you do every day!!Being in walking distance to an uncrowded breathtaking beach, felt like paradise to us. But also the reef directly in front of the resort offers awesome snorkeling with untouched coral gardens. We were surprised with a tour through the local village, the coconut and seaweed plantations. Furthermore we were glad to enjoy a spectacular dive with Julie, the dive instructor.During our stay it felt like being part of the “Mocean Family”. We are very thankful for the time we could spend there and will be glad to come back one day!
