There's no good comments for this Betong Merlin Hotel. Nothing is good maybe because it is old and requiring refurbishment and upgrading. The bathroom is shower is outdated and toilet flush is weak and need to flush few times to clear the shit. The only point worth mentioning is it is situated in town with eateries around the vicinity.

This is my first time staying at this hotel. There are massage parlors and drinking businesses in the surrounding area. It is quite noisy at night, but the accommodation conditions are good. The accommodation and breakfast are provided, and the price is not high.

This hotel has passed its prime. Room is haggard old, furniture chipped away and dusty. At least our room Aircon and toilet seat is new. Fast check in even without booking on weekday. But then the problem starts. So many things are not in working order, doors, tv, lights and bulbs, water and others. Took 1.5 hours to rectify. They offered other rooms to change but other rooms smell musty, damp or smokey. If we had read the reviews, we would not had stayed here. Only grace going is, it is in town center and within walking distance to many places. Intended to stay 2N, but we chkd out nxt day. Better hotels elsewhere.

Booked here just a few hours before checking in. Location wise, it was quite hard for a first timer to find, but once you found it, the road is all in your head. The check in process was smooth. The receptionists were very kind, friendly and helpful. 5 stars to them! The room and amenities were kinda old, but everything was complete. Got a nice room with Betong town view, and it was beautiful. For an unplanned trip, this was worth it.

The sanitary environment of the toilet is very poor and old. Fortunately, I only stayed for one night. The room was quite dusty and the table needed to be wiped with a wet wipe. Fortunately, the bed was clean, although it felt dusty, but you need to lay toilet paper and wear slippers to take a shower and use the bathroom.I really don't like giving businesses one star, butIf it's old and can't be repaired, then at least it needs to be clean, and then the toilet seat can be replaced with a new one. . . The water outlet of the bathtub and the shower head can also be replaced. But they are still very old, rusty and unclean😔😔😔

It's accurate to say that it has seen its better days. The 1-star hotel we stayed in Kluang looks more maintained than this. The only thing going for it is its location, but in its current state, expect to hear all sorts of noise outside of the hotel and the rooms next door. Unless you have a tight budget, look for a better one where you can get the rest you deserve.

Very old hotel with no USB Socket and only have Thai 2 pin electric socket. Bathroom sink tap leaking. Toilet need flush many times.
