Pondok Wayan Homestay is open for business.Visitors are welcome to come to Lombok, to visit its many wonderful natural and cultural attractions not affected by the August 2018 earthquakes.Importantly, visitors can not only support the communities directly affected by the major event, but they can support the economy of Lombok Island. Quiet location, welcoming and helpful people. Secured premises. Spacious room, clean and furnished, breakfast available & kitchen to cook in !Cold water shower and bucket flush western toilets though.Everything is offered, laundry, tours, bike rentals, tips, travels and smiles with Putu and Mona!

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We received a warm welcome and were immediately greeted with soap, WiFi code and a bottle of cool water! :) The rooms are equipped with a TV, air conditioning (easy to use) and extremely comfortable beds. There is also a lockable cupboard and a decent bathroom. You can have a western breakfast (sweet omelette or pancakes) or traditional (fried rice & eggs). I actually don't want to leave here anymore; except the few steps to the sea ;)The area is quiet and inviting with many undeveloped areas.The only negative point is that the taxi drivers cannot find the place, as the specified place appears to be about 1km further away.What they do know, however, is the Karolina Bar, which is right next door. From there it's another 20m.
