We stayed with Karen & Purna for over a month, they are quite simply the most responsive and informative hosts that I've had the pleasure of staying with.We rented the whole compound for our family of five, and we were well looked after. Having our own kitchen was also fabulous as we were able to cook our own meals from time to time.It's obviously not a 5-star hotel, but if you're looking for price friendly accommodation close to all amenities, with wonderful staff and clean rooms - this is a great choice.

The rooms are a bit aged but impeccably clean. Beds and pillows are very comfortable, even the sofa bed. The rooms are also very large and fit our family of four perfectly as kids sleep on the huge sofa bed with their own attached open bathroom. There’s Wi-Fi and a smart tv with YouTube for the kids to watch at night.No breakfast but there’s a fully equipped kitchen and we were generously provided with bread, eggs, butter and two new jars of jam which was good enough to last us through our five days there. There are a few sundry shops just a minute down the road to purchase additional necessities.Service cannot be beat. Karen was friendly and prompt in communication over emails, and Pak Purna went to all lengths to make us comfortable, even delivering dinner to us from his restaurant (Warung Corner, food is superb!) when we were out late for a snorkeling trip. He also arranged the motorbike rental for us, volunteered to help send and collect our laundry, and kindly arranged for a bug spray in the room when we were bothered by mosquitoes. Thank you so much Pak Purna!As the doors have large gaps and one of the bathroom doors does not shut properly unless locked, there WILL be a variety of bugs and mosquitoes in the room. This is our third time in Lombok and bugs and mosquitoes are pretty much part of the package wherever we’ve stayed. Do bring insect repellent and bug balm, and you can always arrange with Pak Purna to get the room sprayed when cleaning.There is no lack of nice restaurants nearby, and our favourite were Warung Corner and Laut Biru. Surf Kitchen right opposite is also a convenient place to eat. Selong Belanak is a lovely beach, just ten mins walk or two mins by motorbike. All said, Bukit Indah is a lovely place and we’d love to come back.

Karen and Pak Purna went out of their way to make our stay amazing. Firstly the location - your 10 min walk away from Selong Belanak beach, loads of options for food (Klub Kembaki is right next door, as well as excellent coffee across the road, Warung Corner is 5 min walk and the best Indonesian food on offer). Bukit Indah also has a kitchen which you can access. This is especially useful when you consider the Sunday market which starts at 7 am and is literally outside the front door. Here you can buy fresh fish, squid, prawns, chicken, beef, vegetables etc and cook it when you please. This was super useful for us when we felt like cooking our own food especially with two young children. The room itself is spacious, clean, comfy, good wifi, TV has netflix and prime. The staff are incredibly friendly. The pool is awesome especially for those days that you don't go to the beach. Kuta is 30 min drive away. We went once a week to stock up on supplies. Bukit Indah is an all round awesome place that won't break your budget.

We had an awesome time at Bukit Indah. I can’t recommend it highly enough, we will be back next year for sure.The accomodation is a beautiful escape, it has a great kitchen, the rooms were massive and very comfortable, and it was great to have a pool as well. You can get excellent coffee and food over the road, or there is a great bar there too.Thank you very much Karen for making us feel so welcome!

Only 5 minute walk to the beach, cocktail bar and restaurant just down the road. Would highly recommend to any groups looking for a scenic escape!

I love this place, have been staying in Bukit Indah for a few occasions, the location is great, i use their bicycle to the beach everyday, it takes less than 5 minutes bike ride. The settings of the 4 rooms over looking their garden is just lovely. Great breakfast options. Staffs are always there and helpful.

Beautifully designed rooms and garden, the staff were what you often get in Indonesia, gracious, respectful and always on hand when and if required. If one wants tranquility near to a stunning beach then here it is. No fault could be found here, amazing value!
