Little corner of paradise, the garden is magnificent and the owners are very friendly!We were able to relax in hammocks with a great view.They also act as guides, we had a great 4 hour walk with Astro.Small negative aspect during the night we spent there: the mosque near their home which we hear a lot at night and in the morning

The hospitality at WinaWani Bungalows is out of this world! I don't even know where to start. We stayed here for 2 nights after climbing Rinjani and we came here extremely dusty, tired, and hungry. They took care of EVERYTHING! They arranged for all our laundry to be washed, got us some amazing food at Warung Monkey Forest (part of the family business), and provided a great bed in a cute Bugalow for a good night's sleep (just make sure to bring good earplugs for mosque in the morning;) )On the next day, we got some delicious breakfast (loved the banana pancakes!), did an amazing half-day tour through the town (including 2 waterfalls, the rice fields, the money forest and sooo many other things and plants and people), relaxed in their beautiful garden, and had some more food at Warung Monkey Forest.They also arranged a lift to an ATM and a taxi to the airport for us, offered free hot drinks all the time, and even had a free drinking water dispenser (which I have not seen in ANY other hotel on our vacation so far)!As a cherry on top, they even cut off a part of their beautiful pink Indonesian flowers so that we can grow them at home.We couldn't recommend WinaWani more!!

One of the best homestays we have been in after 6 months of traveling around SEA. The place itself is a little corner of heaven, with a beautiful and colorful garden and rice fields all around. The room was perfectly clean and cozy even if simple.All the staff has always been extremely friedly, helpful and kind, and gave us advice on what to see around even if we didn't participate to a tour with them. They always made us feel at home and helped us whenever possible (e.g. they quickly replaced the door locker because it broke). You can tell they are sincere and want to make you feel comfortable and don't do it just for money.They would offer us free coffee and tea at all times and would even bring breakfast in our little porch!We had each lunch and dinner at the homestay (with the food prepared in Ron's wife warung) and we loved the food (the curry is AMAZING, made from grated coconut and not from canned coconut milk).We were only sorry we could not stay more!Ps: only minor points for improvement, wifi not always works properly inside the room and the towels could be replaced with newer ones.

It was a once in a lifetime experience. Roon is a kind, funny and helpful host. You get treated like a friend. I highly recommend a tour to some Waterfalls, our guide was Sik and he was perfekt. He told us about the plants and things about the living there. When we stayed there the Euros startet and Astro woke up and set up the TV for us at 3 a.m. He even made us tee and enjoyed the germany game with us. The restaurant which is run by Roons wife is also highly recommended.

Unfortunately, this beautiful hut was right behind a mosque.How did you know that every morning at 5 o'clock you sat straight up in bed?Then there is a prayer 5 times a day.The staff and owner were wonderful.Owner speaks good Dutch.The guys who work there are all super friendly.You are carried on it.
